One of my friends visited BLS Colombo last week as a first-time applicant. Unfortunately, the staff member who assisted her did not provide proper help. The customer service was very poor, and they did not support applicants when needed. Please improve the service .

The woman sitting at desk 1 was very unpleasant. I believe she is a manager. She showed no customer service skills—no smile and no interaction at all. The BLS website is also very poor. The only positive was that I completed the whole process very quickly and didn’t have to wait long.

This relates to our experience more than a year ago Spring/Summer 2023 when we were getting my SA wife's visa for a family holiday in Spain. The trip itself was in August 2023. My children and I are British, and we don't need a visa to Spain. It was impossible to book an appointment at London offices in April/May/June 2023 to submit the documents. We spent three months trying to book the appointment on line. We almost gave up, and thought I would have to go on a holiday with kids and leave wife at home. In the end, we were forced to pay extra for a Premium Service just to book an appointment. Then we had to queue outside for many hours to get in. The stuff of BLS International Services Ltd were friendly and helpful, and I cannot fault them. The wife's visa was issued on time. The problem here is that their London offices are too small, and they have too few stuff to cope with high demand. We did not go to Spain in summer 2024 to avoid the repeat. I shudder at the thought of going through this again and likely will go on a holiday to another country instead. I would like to thank everyone who voted for Brexit, because we did not have any problems going on holidays to Europe before Brexit, and the wife would get a 5 year Schengen visa free of change.

Appointment booking NO available slot until the whole month of July 2023. I been checking everyday since 7th June 2023 no slot available. My travel date is due on 20th July 2023 booked already the hotel and return ticket. Email BLS Spain twice and even calling the customers hotline service but the only message they will say is check the website. Today 19th June 2023 I have a bit of hope I was able to speak to one of the customers service agent Mr.Danish Raza he at least checked the availability while I am on hold very accommodating and sincerely saying he will try again to check for the available date and get back to me I really hope. Anyways, he said he cannot promised to find me available slot but at least he tried. Thank you again Mr.Danish Raza.

This has been one of the most stressful experiences ever! We were looking every day several times for an appointment and phoning/emailing/contacting o. Social media. The customer service on line and by phone is appalling. We knew at the end of March they must be releasing the dates for May soon. On April 3 they released not only dates for May but also April which had been showing as unavailable. Every single day in April and May was green - amazing after weeks of trying. We booked an appointment and attended so seberytbing is now submitted. The experience at the BLS office in Manchester was excellent- friendly, attentive and supportive staff. It was like a different company. So glad the nightmare of getting an appointment is over and wish everyone else on here luck getting one. we won’t chose Spain again far too stressful.

I have been trying to book a visa appointment since more than a month. I check frequently day and late night too trying my luck. It just says full booked until end of April and no dates released for May. Such a bad experience with booking visas I have never come across this anywhere. Looks like I may have to pay £500 for tourist visa. Its a shame that all my accommodation /food and flight fare for 7 nights is costing me less than this.
