They don't deserve even 1 star! I have dealt with other visa processing facilitators and this is by far the worst! My 16 year old son has been offered a place with the Turing Scheme to visit Valencia in July. I have submitted all his paperwork online and have been trying to get an appointment with BLS in Manchester since early April. We have written emails; begged our case on telephone; social media etc only to be told.."keep logging on and trying to find a date". The dates are not being issued due to private visa processing syndicates block booking dates and jamming the system (from what we've heard). This makes it impossible for the common person to gain any help. How are people expected to visit Spain if this is the level of service (or lack thereof) they can expect from BLS / The Spanish Consulate. I have been living in the UK for over three years, and kept hoping that the Spanish consulate will one day listen to customers’ voice and stop dealing with BLS, with no luck. In my last experience, and after having miraculously found an online appointment, I received an email just five hours before the time of my appointment to inform me about a change of address of the application center. I attended the office and was just informed on the spot that the office is only accepting cash for paying the visa fees. After having lost my time in searching for an ATM to withdraw the amount in cash, I was shocked having my flight tickets refused by the staff there because of having them booked from a travel agency - which is something I always tend to do. The tickets clearly contain the airlines’ reservation code, though the staff insisted that I should rebook and pay for my ticket straightly from the airlines’ office, which is something not even requested in the documents checklist issued by the European Commission. I just cancelled my trip to Spain, and will now travel to Turkey instead and spend my holiday there. PS: Of course - and as usual - no customer service by phone is available for us to speak to someone and enquire about the visa requirements prior to the appointment, or even to raise a complaint afterwards!

We were told to make contact as soon as the paperwork arrived from the Spanish police , confirming we have been invited to stay with family and we have the pre booked flights that were required for the application. Today we have been informed we need to change our flights to a later date. Due to NO dates/slots available with BLS. Due to travel 18th June ….. But changes to our flights will invalidate the police form!!!! This form alone has cost over €260 with postage, plus there will be an additional cost to change our flights !!! We were completely guided by this company & now due to not enough appointments, we are massively out of pocket and can no longer be processed for a visa. Despite following their timeframe. Tried sending an email via the address shown on the website but surprise surprise unable to deliver !!!!!! Utter joke ……… Spanish embassy/consulate use this company but they are losing loads in revenue with the lack visitors due to these visa appointment issues !!!!

This is an awful company. The website is terrible, customer service is terrible and results are terrible. People's lives are being adversely affected by them, they should not be allowed to trade. Why does the Spanish consulate use them? Very poor all around.

Absolute joke of a company! Been trying to get an appointment for 4 months, checking 2/3 times daily! Had to cancel our family holiday to Spain because of this pathetic company! They need shutting down ASAP!!! Ruining peoples holidays 😡😡😡

Thia Company is defo a scam. After numerous tries to get a date, to no avail. We payed £450 for the home service and they said we’ll get the passport in 3 weeks. Travelling date is the 26th and uptil no passport or a clue. We had to cancel our bookings so we can get at least part of our money back. It’s a waste of time and I hope they shut them down. A rip-off of our money. This isn’t fair at all and the Spanish Embassy isn’t doing nothing

Its been soo frustrating just attempting to book an appointment. i have been online foe about a week. their site is always blocked with the 403 error each time i try to log in to look for a slot. if you ever log on, there is absolutely no appointment no matter the time. however it encourages you to pay hundreds of pounds to agencies to ensure u get appointment. if i knew this i would never have booked and pay for the hotel. its a scam. Dont go to spain if you dont have a british passport. Wish i could give a zero star.
