Getting the unit was a bit of a hassle because my insurance deemed it “not necessary” but Erik Polk was kind enough to write a letter to my insurance as to why it should be considered necessary. In the end, I got the unit and have loved it since! I knew what to expect out of it because we had used it in PT and saw great results. The team has been great about getting back to me promptly when I have questions or issues. I am told that this will eventually retrain my muscles to correct my foot drop on its own. I have noticed that my foot drop is not as bad as it used to be but I still do not feel 100% confident without the bioness unit yet. I have L300 lower leg cuff and the thigh cuff to stimulate my hamstring so I won’t hyperextend my knee when walking. I love it!
