Transferred our mortgage processing to bilt without our consent. They gave us zero warning, just couldn't pay our bill one day. Now that we are migrated over to bilt, we don't see an amortization schedule or helpful information we used to have. Not sure why they switched, but they constantly try to shove to you how you can earn rewards on paying your mortgage which is pretty negligible. Customer service is funneled to AI

I would rate them zero stars if it was an option. Since they broke away from Wells Fargo it has been a complete disaster. It’s nearly impossible to access your account or talk to a person and if you are lucky enough to get a live person they can’t help you, you have to send an email to a department that sometimes responds and they are not helpful. I moved and changed phone numbers and could not access my account because even though I verified my account by email they sent a code to my disconnected number so I had to email support staff for help and have not gotten any response. You also have to tie your checking account to them and have no option to send them a check or money order or even use your personal banks bill pay option to pay them. I don’t tie my checking account to anything for security reasons. I only used them to pay rent and pay my cell phone bill for the built in benefits of phone insurance but I am willing to cancel all that and take a hit on my credit report by cancelling them it has been that bad. If they go back to Wells Fargo I will reconsider but it’s not worth the stress, the un helpfullness, the headaches it causes, and the inconvenience.

Their customer service is absolutely terrible. There's no easy mechanism to contact them, when you call them they can't fix some very easy problems. This is the worst credit card I've ever had.

Activated daughter as authorized user, then she went to Ireland where card didnt work AT ALL. Called and got yet another foreigner almost impossible to understand (BILT PLEASE get Americans to answer the phone) and was told there was some sort of second step whereby she was to be "invited" after activation and there's a glitch..."invite pending" stuck in a loop that they are working on. Brand new but as of this point, I'd give BILT ZERO stars if I could.

A trap, AVOID! I heard Bilt could earn rewards for rent payments, read a few articles about it, then decided to try it out. I can only conclude Bilt is paying a lot of blog writers because none of their promises about rent payments held true. Most significantly, everywhere said there were no fees for using Bilt for rent, but all the cards I tried said they would accrue transaction fees greater than any possible reward. I then tried to remove my cards and cancel my account, but ended up having to use Google to figure out how to do that, and then to reach the part of the website with the field to request the deletion, as the buttons on the site did not seem to work. I've requested all of my data be deleted, we'll see if that actually happens.

Their new Bilt 2.0 is a major letdown and also very scammy. I pay my bill in full every month on autopay yet I still received 2 random interest charges. When I reached out to customer service I was bounced around a couple of times and they gave a vague response that did not make sense. I emailed back twice more asking for more information and they have ghosted me.

This company is a data harvesting company. Their businness model is based around collecting and profiting from surveilling your finances and life. They are a part of the problem. And they purposely position themselves to make it impossible for renters to not use them. And now they got their hooks into my mortgage servicer UWM. After their "partnership" there is no longer a digital means to manage my loan without signing up for the Bilt portal. I will now be managing my loan over the phone like it's 1984 and we live in a George Orwell novel. The sooner Bilt ends, the better.
