Terrible product
Terrible company. They have set it up in a way that when you submit payment you tap into your credit utilization with them and it tanks your credit score. Terrible product.

Seamless user experience. What really did it for me was when they changed the payments portal (and with it, my routing & account numbers for paying rent), they were immediate with sending new micro deposits so I could verify with my payments portal before rent day. What it demonstrated about their customer service, and urgency to resolve issues, was powerful to me.

You need to call Bilt... no, you need to call Wells Fargo... let me transfer you... this was today's experience of over 2.5 hours and 11 calls, all for a measly $75 payment on a merchant site. No resolution whatsoever, even though I spoke to supervisors. It's horrible, and I will be cancelling my card as soon as possible.

Applied for the BILT Mastercard with a 750+ credit score, no missed payments, no balances carried, and high income. Denied solely due to the number of “revolving bankcard trades opened in the last 24 months.” These included upgrades to existing cards and airline cards chosen for specific travel benefits — all responsibly managed. I spoke with BILT customer service and escalated to a supervisor, who couldn’t provide a clear threshold or reconsideration path. Very disappointing experience for a customer with strong financials. Sharing this so others can be aware before applying and taking a hard credit pull.

The worst app ever, lived at my community for over a year and all the rewards I collected was $24 bucks, you have to die here to get your full rent paid off with rewards. Also have a horrible processing policy, I cannot remove an old card, and bilt has it set as default and when trying to stop transactions because I noticed it was the wrong account it still processed then said it was not able to process(no shit cause it’s an old expired card) and now it’s saying I can’t pay. The worst app ever. Rent cafe was so much easier.

Utterly awful user experience, across the board. Literally nothing works on their website. You can't add a credit card. You can't add a bank account. You can't pay rent. If your property management ever transitions to Bilt, do yourself a favor and move out.

This has been the worst platform I have had the misfortune of using. I moved into an apartment complex that uses this system as a way to pay rent. It has not worked the past two months so now I have to get a cashier's check, personal check or money order to pay my rent. This is extremely inconvenient as I travel a lot for my work and now, I have to take time off to get a cashier's check as I don't have personal checks; all payments are online since most banks now charge more to process paper checks over online banking/payments. Horrible system! The first month after moving in, it didn't even post charges correctly!! Maybe that's why they have a rewards system in place so that users bypass the inadequacies of this platform.

The worst system in the world! AVOID AT ALL COST!! They make it out to be easy but then they take your money and cause nightmares. We tried paying rent with it for the first time, they say you can pay through venmo by attaching a card and then you can pay rent through that. They'll deny it by saying "it's not rent" then they'll still charge you, plus their fee, then they'll say that the payment didn't go through. I've talked to customer service 3 times and everytime customer support starts "looking up the account" the chat has "errors" and then disconnects. No help no service and now no understanding of what happened.
