I’d prefer not to use one star but i had to choose one. The furniture from big lots is absolute trash. I’m on my third reclining chair in 3 months. The mechanisms fall apart, and it quits reclining. The same problem for every single one. They refuse to do a refund even with my receipt. They say you can only get store credit or replace it. It’s constantly a problem and the same one each time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON BUYING ANY OF THEIR FURNITURE YOU WONT GET QUALITY AND YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK REGARDLESS OF THE PROBLEM OR HAVING YOUR RECEIPT FROM TIME OF PURCHASE!!

I have been trying for about a week now to order, hunt down and or pick up 2 vixen trees for Christmas. The site states that 2 are available at a nearby location. Everytime I order the order is cancelled because the items aren't available. I contacted customer service and was told to contact the store. I did and drove there only to find that they didn't have them! As I type this the site is still stating that they are both still available at this location and it is now 2 days since my store trip. I have yet to hear back from customer service for my second and third emails. There has been no attempt to maybe locate one at a different store to ship to me, no offer of maybe a gift card for all my trouble, zero, zip, nada an attempt to give the customer a decent experience! Totally frustrating and unnecessary to treat a paying customer with such a lack of empathy!

The manager is rude because my son was walking with me and the manager yelled at my son and said I saw you climb up the ladder and he was with me the hole time so I suggest not going there cause they are rude.

Beware of Big lot Recliner year one Chair breaks second year leather rips from sitting in it. Cheap Recliner will not last made in China cheap

Always enjoyed shopping at this store. Now it's getting messy and disorganized. Staff changes constantly. They have no interest in helping. Try to use the coupons sent by email. Clerks can't figure out how to apply them. Staff is messy,tatooed,pierced,sloppy clothes and uninformed. Try hiring more qualified people,clean them up,better training. Tired of hearing"I don know"....this is at all stores now. That raise in pay everyone got has done wonders. Ignorant slobs.

Never order furniture off of big lots because they will charge you twice as much, I was charged $737 and then had a hold on my account that was for $883 for no reason! And when asked get them to take it off they gave me the run-around for 2-3 weeks. That preventing me from being able to access 883 of my own dollars because they have a lock on my bank account. their excuse was to make sure I had the funds my account but that doesn't explain why they charge me for both things when it only $737. They basically charged me $1300 and the hold is still on my account 3 weeks later! I'm completely unsatisfied and sick at how they play with others money!

We had attempted to purchase 2 beds, neither of which were to satisfaction. The first was to be a full size but the computer would continually order a queen size. A manager finally had to figure out that it only came in a queen size. The second bed, when it finally arrived only included the box springs and mattress. When we ordered it, we spelled out this frame, headboard, this mattress, etc. We assumed it was correct. Big disappointment!

Bought a black leather sectional and not even a year and a half later the leather is cracking and peeling on the seats and ripping apart at the seams. Horrible furniture & customer service. Bought the protection plan because this was my main concern with buying this furniture and was reassured by the sales manager that it was covered with the protection plan.. waste of $1300.
