Big LotsReviews of biglots.com

Rick (Store Mgr) at Big Lots, Turnersburg Rd location in Statesville advised that Restrooms were permanently closed & that I should go to McDonalds to do my business as they are a Restaurant & they must keep their Restrooms opened. Many dealings have I had at this store but no more. I like the store but not this Policy.

Purchased a recliner and 20 days later it's falling apart, defective. Big lots says it doesn't matter that it's a defective chair they will not cover it because it's past 14 days. Get real most things don't show up in the first 14 days. They are selling junk and not low prices either.

They are not a furniture store. They cannot order furniture or give any idea of when new items may arrive. They sell floor models that are broken and dirty. He claimed that if I spent $400 and it were broken, it could not be returned. I did not purchase. Instead, I spent $100 more at the competitor “Amolin”. I'm so glad I did. Better quality and a kind owner who didn't make me feel like I was bothering her.

They didn’t have what I wanted in stock and wouldn’t discount the floor model. Seem as if the woman who was the manager was running around like a chicken with their head chopped off. They need to hire more help and better decision makers.

Rude manager and employees. No smiles no friendliness. I’m a manager and I would never treat people without respect. A smile goes a long way to bring people back. Not going back to the market street, Wilmington, NC store

My first and last time in this store located in Simpsonville SC on South Street. Very unfriendly cashier and I was overcharged a total of $14.00 on 3 separate items. I will take the loss, but will not go there again. The store was poorly stocked in the food section. I have shopped at many Big Lots and loved them all, but this one is terrible.

I brought a kitchen table set brand new and one of the stores that closed when I was trying to purchase some screws to be able to put it together because it did not come with the screws, they told it it's supposed to came with the screws but they didn't have it in there. So when I asked about this, we don't have nothing to do with the old big Lots We just have a different, we just got their name. So they're not honoring anything that has to do with the old big lot. I\n Can't even put together my kitchen table set. Because they refuse to even sell me screws. To it, they say they have nothing to do with it. So I advise anybody if you get any merchandise from a big Lots, be very careful and they're not honoring none of their stuff in regarding to any store you purchase from the old big lot, so I can't deal with people like that. They're not honorable. Just just giving you the answer, be aware of big lotsfurniture BI.\ the man.\n Ager stated that they get that furniture from overseas. So imagine probably from China somewhere, you know how they do they get it for cheap and sell it to us for more money. My advice is, people need to start looking at what China got. And how much it costs to get it from them, because apparently that's all you buying stuff from China have a good shopping day better than mines. Peace out this review was to be shared.\n Shared, so apparently you didn't share it. I don't know why was the problem. It was my true experience. I will not be doing any reviews back on this I feel like I should have never did it because I do not like the fact that you didn't share it. It was for you to share. Not to just I wasn't just telling you so I don't like the spirits that I had on this because you supposed to share it and you did the spirits I had with this company was bad. It's not a good feeling.
