Purchased a couch and was very pleased with quality and price! Unfortunately it did not arrive at the Roseburg, Oregon store. Went back to get my refund of $399.99 and clerk processed. After 4 days of not seeing it returned to my checking, I used debit card, I called Big Lots and spoke with manager who told me it takes 7 to 10 days for the refund to hit my account! Not acceptable! They had no problem withdrawing funds immediately when I paid in advance! Will never purchase anything again with debit card at Big Lots! I have experienced other returns and it it hits bank immediately! They need to change their process!

Don’t buy the leather couch there they are horrible after a year it start to peal not worth it

Delivery window is 8 hr window they are suppose to call you with an hrs notice more like "We will be there in 7 minutes" they charge you $75 to take it off the truck and drop it on the room it's going it .. leaving you to unwrAp it and put the legs on . Don't believe them in the store when they say the delivery people do all this . I told the driver that I was told they set it up meaning unwrAp and put the legs on he laughed at me and said we keep tell the stores we don't do that better off picking it up yourself save the $75 charge

I purchased a serta plush mattress and it came wrapped in plastic. It was just as I ordered and customers service was great! I love this mattress it feel like Im in a 5 star hotel. I also found 1220 thread count sheets that I purchase at a very reasonable price. I will definitely shop at big lots again.

I went to buy a mattress and headboard at Big Lots online. After putting my information in and confirming, it kicked me out. Re-did and the same thing happened.I called their customer service 800 number and they had no record of the order and said they were experiencing "computer issues" and to try again later. Then my bank called. They had 2 pending charges from Big Lots totaling $1,736.38. I went back to Big Lots to get them to cancel those pending charges and then began the odyssey of the absolute worst customer service and shopping experience I have ever had. They basically "borrowed"- I would say STOLE 1700- and I had to jump through hoops to get it back. I didn't do anything wrong - it was all on their side. By locking up my money on a double charge I was late with rent, phone bill, car insurance payment. I couldn't buy gas or food. They sent me an e-mail saying someone would get back to me and this would be settled in 24-48 hrs - No call, I had to call and it was just the "next step". They demanded all this information to send to my bank and when I asked I asked when it would be done (this was Noon on Friday 08/02) I was told that they didn't know and that department was gone for the weekend and no one was there that could help me or talk to me. They did send me once to the "Manager voice Mail" which they obviously do not listen or respond to and if its emergency - call the 800 number (that I was just transferred from) and they will assist. I finally got my money back after I disputed the charges. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

I buy all my rugs, towels and a few other items at Big Lots as their prices seem to be the lowest for these items. So many of these stores closed that it is hard to find one now. Recently I moved and there is one close by that is well stocked and dog friendly which is a plus here in Oroville . Being able to take my little dog shopping with me I shop here more than other discount stores that have a no dogs allowed policy. Only complaint I have is that their prices have gone up such as garden decor. Fifty dollars for garden statues is rather high for a discount store and I can always find same items for a lower price elsewhere so I keep my buying down to certain items only .Otherwise I would spend a lot more

Absolutely terrible! DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE! I recently purchased a couch from Big Lots and also purchased the protection plan along with it. Not even 2 months after buying the couch, the seam on the arm rest began to rip and separate. I filed a claim, the plan claims to insure rips and tears.... But if you read the fine print it covers absolutely NOTHING! So here I am with a useless couch with the hole about 5 inches wide in it, and wasted money. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE I BEG YOU! The furniture is junk and the customer service is useless.

I have been eyeballing this particular couch set (Granger Dark Gray Motion Faux Leather Sofa). The price listed for the 3pc set has always been $1599. It was never a sale price. I have a receipt showing original price. Why there's suddenly a price hike in midst of the friends and family sale (7/13-7/14/19)? The new price is $1799. So by giving a 20% discount off this price not including tax, you think we're saving $200 or so? We're paying damn near the same price as if it was regularly sold at $1599. How is that saving us money when the price increased? I feel like it's a rip-off. How can this be explained away? If the furniture is so popular, why wait til now to hike up price? It's been $1599 since I've been price watching since April 2019. I'm sure that was the regular price before then. I also went to the local store the weekend before the friends and family sale and it was still $1599 then checked online. And for the Gemma bed set, how and why does the 6-drawer chest dresser ($499) costs more than the bed ($399)? From what the stores keep telling me, they can never keep this set in stock. The price hasn't increased. It remained the same as of today (7/13/19). I'm just confused
