Very professional staff! Always focused on patient care!

Friendly, very patient answering questions.

The location is clean. The first time I had no wait at all. The nurse practitioner and Physician Assistant were both caring and compassionate.

I have used BetterMed for myself many times and it has always been great. Today, my 7 month old had symptoms of an ear infection. Instead of dragging him down to VCU and his primary care, I was gonna just let BetterMed staff see him. I rushed out of the door with my son and drove 30 mins away to BetterMed. In the hustle and bustle of trying to get there with my extremely upset kid I left my wallet in my house. I didn’t realize it until I was sitting in the waiting room. I thought to myself that it wouldn’t be an issue, they have all of my information from my recent visits, one being less than 1 month ago, drivers license, insurance, and payment method. I waited about 10 mins to only find out that I had to have a physical license with me to have my son seen. I explained that my information should be in the system and the receptionist explained it didn’t work. She was very sweet and the reason I give my review 3 stars. I work in health care and I understand policy but I also know that life happens. I asked if I could register my son and have him seen while my husband brought his information to use for my sons record. I was told no. I asked if I could email a picture of if, I was told no. The receptionist next to the one helping me over heard and poked her head around explaining that there was nothing they could do. I shook my head, gathered my stuff and left. I was so upset that I could do something so silly and my poor boy was so mad because he needed help that I couldn’t give him. I looked up another urgent care and called and they gladly accepted to see my son knowing I didn’t have my license and worked with me because it was in the best interest of the patient. I hope this review helps change policy and helps accommodate life.

I was very pleased with the service I received at BetterMed. The staff was very helpful and professional and the office was extremely clean.

No wait. PA was thorough and attentive. Front desk was efficient. Very satisfied.
