Tried several days to make an appointment for Covid antibody testing. Could not get an appointment online. Had to go to the facility to be told that appointment scheduling opens up at midnight for three days later. Don’t understand why that explanation wasn’t on the website! Would have saved me a trip. That night I waited until midnight to schedule appointment, but that night it didn’t open until 2am! What a waste of time and lack of sleep! When I get to my appointment, I explained that I thought I had Covid in December 2019. The antibody request required a blood draw, heart, lung check, etc. After the blood draw, the nurse practitioner told me that antibodies only show up for two to four weeks after illness! Had I known that, I wouldn’t have bothered wasting time, sleep, and money. Please indicate that on your website!! While the experience getting the test done was awful, the care I received was excellent. Facility clean and workers efficient. I would like to commend Tavonta Conaway, the intake person. He dealt with me when I came in angry about not getting an appointment. He calmed me down and tried his absolute best to get me an appointment and even tried other facilities. The system would not allow him to issue an appointment, but I appreciated his delightful manner and persistence. He was very busy, but took the time to help.

The medical procedure itself was 5 stars, but the admin piece was 1 Star. I was almost charged ~$500 because my insurance number was not “verified.” Your office made zero attempts to call me about this or contact my insurance company about it until I called multiple times (and was treated like I was being super rude the whole time when I was just asking what my insurance member ID not being “verified” meant because my insurance company the day beforehand had not mentioned anything about that when I called about this charge and said this claim hadn’t even been filed with them yet by your office). I would definitely recommend your office’s rapid testing as it is an amazing resource to have in VA and I otherwise had a great experience— but the fact remains that if I hadn’t noticed an automated email saying I would be charged ~$500 automatically within 5 days, I would have had to contest the charge through my insurance company etc. which would have been a huge headache and frankly could totally decimate someone financially during COVID.

Came in for a COVID rapid test, only took 30 minutes to be admitted once we arrived at the facility and then 15 minutes to get the results. It was painless and the staff was all very knowledgeable and friendly.

Workers shouted the results of my test so loudly I could hear them through the wall and I could hear them announce the tests of others. Poor customer service

The office on Hull St is all around a great business. The staff was courteous and friendly. I was able to call on a Sunday morning and get an appointment the same day. With all this COVID scare was able to put my family at ease with quick results. Everything about the process was quick and easy. Even called in prescription and was ready by the time I arrived. This office has the feel of a family doctors office but the speed of an emergency room.
