In only 2 months working with my BetterHelp therapist, I have made significant progress in my life, especially with regard to my substance abuse. This is something that had plagued me for many years and that I just couldn't shake off. But with the support of my therapist and her expert advice, not only was I able to quit after 25 years, I've been able to get my life back on track. I still have work to do but I'm confident that I am headed in the right direction and I'm never looking back. I am so grateful for the service BetterHelp provides. I couldn't have done it without them!

BetterHelp is really helping me get my life back on track. In the midst of a pandemic, losing my job, and being a new mother I was feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and unsure of myself. My aunt recommended BetterHelp and from the website I instantly felt some relief seeing how much access I would have to talking to a licensed counselor. A few days later I was paired with my counselor and I absolutely love her. I am eager to continue my self work and Im grateful BetterHelp has created an affordable and easy to use platform for me to do so.

BetterHelp has made counseling accessible. They've provided me with financial aid, so I can access counseling at a reasonable rate. I am able to schedule sessions around times convenient for me within the comfort of my own home. The counselor I was paired with is helpful and supportive. I look forward to my sessions with her.

I enjoy the app but find the cost is a bit too high, maybe even unreasonable. I value my mental health more than money for sure, and while money isn’t everything, having it helps. It is likely just me, but the billing cycle seems to be too frequent; as if I’m being perpetually billed twice everyone for the next month. Further to this point, my Girlfriend and I have separate Therapists and her BetterHelp costs are almost half as expensive as mine.

I could get therapy for free through my work but I’m glad I paid for this. To me, in-person counselling or even video calling is quite intimidating. I love BetterHelp because I have the option to just message my therapist which is more accessible in my opinion

Great experience, affordable and a well designed app. A big thumbs up for me! I have read other people’s reviews about BetterHelp and it seems it just comes down to which counsellor you get (just like in real life). Mine is incredible. 20 years experience, reliable and able to take me as deep as I want to go. I love that modern technology can offer a video chat function seamlessly paired with a Journal feature.

I have been using Betterhelp for 3 months. This is not my first experience with counseling, so I had some expectations and hesitations. When I didn't click with my first counselor after 2 sessions, I chose a different one. The switch was so much more convenient than it would have been with traditional counselors. I live in a rural area that has limited resources. The BetterHelp counselors come from diverse backgrounds and ages. There is a much bigger choice than I have locally. My new counselor is a great match. She has been very helpful during a stressful period. With Covid 19, our on-line weekly meetings are safe and convenient. I've been very pleased.
