I had very high hopes for my experience with betterhelp but I was extremely disappointed. I basically spent over $300 for some lady to ask me "how does that make you feel?" I really wish I was exaggerating. I was looking for insightful advice and objective guidance but what I got was unhelpful generic questions and obvious elementary observations about my issues. I feel like I got ripped off. I wanted to love this website but all I did was waste over $300.

great experience so far. This is a unique platform offers tremendous amount of services. I am a very private person and did not believe in opening up to others let alone to a psychiatrist. Once i realized that my mental health is deteriorating due to a severe unexpected trauma and my loved ones were suffering with me, I had no choice but to start looking for help. That's when i found Better Health. I was matched with a great councilor, who has been phenomenal and only after 3 sessions with her, i am already seeing a difference in my mental health. I would highly recommend BetterHelp to all those are in desperate need. The cost is reasonable and its absolutely worth it.

My counselor on betterhelp has been wonderful, she responds to my messages every day and gives me really insightful guidance and support. The messaging service is really invaluable because it means as soon as my mind starts veering towards anxious thoughts I can message her instead. I kind of use the messaging as a diary, and it's so good to have someone on the other end who reads and responds and really cares. I find with the messaging I can be really honest about my insecurities. I think the fact that I'll never meet my counselor also somehow makes it easier for me to be totally open. Our weekly talks are really helpful too and I can tell during them that she really has read and thought about my messages throughout the week.

After making one month payment for the therapy I have chosen a counselor. Although she accepted me as a client she was not responsive and I lost my time and energy with her. I chose a second counselor. We have arranged an appointment. After waiting for the appointment she cancelled it at the very last minute saying that her husband is ill. And she did not guide me the other day even though she has promised. I have found a third counselor. In our first session he told me that I need emdr and we could do it in the next session. I have waited for the next session but his camera was not working which is necessary for emdr. We have arranged a third appointment. One day before he told me that his camera will not be working. He told me that it is because of the hurricane. I would like to quit my membership and get a full refund but they do not accept.
