I was hesitant at first but BetterHelp has honestly been amazing. I love the therapist I am matched with and I love that I can chat with her in between sessions. I love the ease of scheduling and the fact that I can set the pace for how often I see her. I could not ask for a better way to address my mental health at this time in my life.

Better Help was introduced to me via my employer citibank. I have had really great help from my therapist. Devaughn has been very kind and has helped me navigate through some difficult times in my life. I am grateful. I hope I can continue with this programme. At the moment, I was told it does not use insurance. I hope that will change.

Betterhelp has been refusing to give me a refund of more than £2000 even though I only received two sessions with a therapist. I signed up for Betterhelp and was paired with a therapist who I didn’t connect with. I informed them and they said they would get me another therapist but they continued billing me and I didn’t notice until it was over £2000. I asked Betterhelp to refund me the money that they took during the time I had no therapist and only charge me for the two sessions I had and they refused citing their no refund policy. They then forced me to continue with therapy on the site even though I made it clear I am now doing face to face therapy. It makes no sense to continue charging someone when they are not getting the service they are paying for. I’m so disappointed by their refusal to issue me my refund. Betterhelp, do better. ***UPDATE*** Betterhelp replied to my review but in fact have not actually contacted me directly or offered me my refund! Their replies here are just to save face. I don’t want to “improve” the situation by being forced to use the site, I want a refund.
