PLEASE DO NOT USE BETTERHELP! Betterhelp is a waste of time and money. The issue with this platform is that they are a tech company and mental health is at the bottom of their priorities. They match you with therapists but there is no control over what these therapists do. I paid $180 dollars over two weeks just to have my therapist not join the live when I schedule a session, nor did she give me any sort of worksheets that she said she would give. The worst part is theres nothing you can do on betterhelp to complain about this other than contacting customer service which is a nightmare in itself. I can't afford to be paying this money, let alone have people taking it from me without providing any of the services they say they would provide. This platform is nothing more than fancy software.

Belinda is a very patient. She helps you work through your problems and provides concrete examples of how to improve your actions and thoughts. She gets to the root of your thinking and provides honesty when it is needed. She is genuinely interested in how you feel, and she is available all week anytime over text if needed. Belinda has convinced me that I should love myself not only for others, but for myself. Belinda is a wise therapist. I appreciate her immensely!

First of all, I think it's very difficult to make the decision that you want to have therapy. I think we all have preconceived notions about what it should be like and what it is like. I have discovered that working with my therapist has been very different from what I had anticipated. It has been a very positive experience in one that I would recommend to anyone who was seeking to work through issues that they have in their life. I know it takes time to find the correct therapist I feel very blessed that the first person that I connected with was absolutely the person that I needed to speak with. I pray that everyone who seeks therapy will have the same experience as I do.

BetterHelp is a great resource for therapy and finding ways to improve my ability to manage past trauma impacts, to increase my resilience, and to feel more optimistic about my future. My current therapist is remarkable: intelligent, caring, and supportive. I previously talked with another therapist on the app who wasn’t a good fit for me, and the app made it very easy to switch to someone else. I appreciate the student pricing and the many classes and group sessions that I can take in addition to my weekly therapy sessions. It’s very easy to use the app.

My therapist still checks in with me and I am grateful because as a 25 year teacher, specializing in, among other subjects, Behavioral Education, my therapist helped me process differentiation with a mindful approach that has allowed me to retain personal growth.
