Hi Terry, We do our best with the insurance information provided to estimate a member's co-pay amount, but unfortunately the final amount is determined by the insurance company themselves; it does often depend on how close you are to meeting any respective deductibles. Hi Megan, Apologies for any confusion surrounding the membership billing structure! We try to make this clear from the onset (on the billing page, and via an automated email after the first payment is made). We can generally extend your membership for you a bit to help allow you more time to have a live session if that is the primary feature you were looking to utilize on the platform. Hi Jen, We're so sorry to hear your patient responsibility through your insurance plan was higher than the estimated out-of-pocket amount we were provided. We use trusted services to get the most accurate out-of-pocket estimates possible, but many times the actual amount depends on meeting your deductible first. We try to make this clear on the payment page. Hi Jennifer, We appreciate your feedback and are very sorry for any unexpected patient responsibility charges, as well as for and disappointment with the service you received from your therapist. We do everything we can to encourage therapists to submit their session notes to the insurance companies as soon as possible in order to prevent multiple charges at once. We apologize if that didn't happen for you and you received multiple charges on the same day.
