BetterHelp is a trustworthy and helpful resource, however I am rating it a four and not five due to the cost and clunky technology. I wish it was slightly more affordable and since it is expensive, I wish they made an effort to ensure I schedule my monthly sessions. Sometimes I forget to schedule, and there is not a way to schedule a recurring appointment, yet they never send reminders. There are often technical issues on both the website and phone app.

My experience with my therapist was awesome, 5 stars! Just sad that I need to cancel due to the fact of the pricing structure. Almost $500 a month. Then after they had a discount price of $105 a week which is still $420. It’s just a lot and I will now need to cancel my membership due to the unavailability of this program.

BetterHelp is an absolute life saver - the service that everyone should start benefiting from. I’ve had conventional 1:1 therapy in the past and it’s great, however, it is quite expensive these days. BetterHelp offers an amazing alternative which is affordable, but in addition to your individual sessions there are plenty of invaluable resources like group sessions, webinars etc. I highly recommend BetterHelp to those who is starting their therapy/counselling journey.

Julie Roger’s’ advice and guidance has been invaluable and has equipped me well with a really easy way to journal. She was kind, compassionate and always ready to listen during our sessions. Her recommended way of journaling will be something i will do for a long long time, i felt so much clarity each time. Somehow that clarity and release help me to feel lighter.

My experience is made great by the quality therapist I found. I feel this service is useful and authentic and they have a heart. My job as a Licensed practical nurse can get me down at times and also everyday life in middle age of caring for sick and dying loved ones takes a toll. The only negative issue I can find with Better help is that the first session my therapist and I were on cell phones and the call dropped three times during a 45 to 50 minute session. This was very inconvenient and frustrating for me, As I'm Sure it was for my very patient therapist.

The freedom of virtual therapy is why I started using BetterHelp. I couldn’t always make my appointments in an office setting. I’m more connected to my therapist through the chat option. After my sessions we can brainstorm a specific thing without a full session and go in to detail when we are in the session. I’m on my second therapist because my first one left BetterHelp and she was great. When I searched for a new one, I could read through their profile and experience. I literally hand picked my new one and she has been such a blessing to me. I couldn’t be more thankful for BetterHelp and my therapist.

I've been in therapy for several years now working on triggers stemming from a history of severe child abuse. The past few months I've been looking for a therapist who had more expertise in this area. I heard about Better Help from a podcast I listen to, so I decided to check it out. After reading Christina's profile it was obvious she had the skills and experience I needed. It couldn't have been more true once we had the opportunity to meet. Her deep level of knowledge and compassion have already proven super insightful and healing. Highly recommended.
