This session did not happen today at the time I booked it it was rescheduled yesterday for yesterday Thursday.I have been really enjoying the sessions with my therapist she has been really lovely to me. I was not able to answer yesterday as I have been extremely busy.Today at the start of the session I got a video notification and there was no one there which felt very odd.I stressed out,it said that I needed to wait for the therapist. I really hope that she was actually ok as I had taken the time to be present on the screen which is a really scary thing to do and a really open minded thing.Would have been my second time on video the first time was quite stressful as can be imagined. I had put my face on video the first time talking to someone about my feelings on a computer.It would definitely be a thoughtful thing to get a response on my query as I have trusted and thought deeply about this platform and it's therapy methods and how I have been feeling recently.Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you soon.

I was assigned a therapist who had excellent feedback but in my opinion should not have been anywhere near clients. She told me what I should have done and what she would have done. I felt zero empathy and when I pointed out it wasn’t helpful for her to tell me what I should have done she became very defensive. It was an absolute disaster. I was offered someone else but decided not to risk further upset and have cancelled my membership.

I have been suffering with mental health issues for a long time and I finally got the courage to open myself to some therapy. I have read the reviews on here of how "great" betterhelp is but after going through this first hand I completely disagree. I started off by signing up and instantly on the app the first thing you come to is that you have to put your card details in, you cant even have a look around the app and see if its for you. They then advertise that your first week is free so I signed up and put my card details in. As soon as my card details where added $288 was immediately taken from my account! I was furious. I obviously emailed them to get a refund back, they responded straight away apologising saying that it was a "miscommunication" error and they will refund the amount. I awoke this morning to them refunding me $28.80 and not the near $300 that they owed me. I have now emailed then 4 times and not has a single response. Seeing as I have a week free I thought I would give it ago however when I booked my first session in, my therapist cancelled immediately, my hopes of thinking therapy was good is now in the gutter. For everyone that would like to keep there money, do NOT sign up for this, all they want is your money, they don't care about your mental health.

Fully recommend better help, the therapist are highly skilled and the platform is always checking in to ensure you are safe and professing in your therapy.

Better help made a huge difference in my life. Having to travel a lot for work I don’t always find time for therapy and with better help I can do it from literally anywhere. My therapist match was perfect from the first attempt and I’ve never felt better.

I wish i did a deeper dive into the reviews and not have gone off what influencers and mass marketing would have you believe. I truly felt like a number. My therapist was nice enough but the lack of personability and eagerness to end a session early made me feel like crap. The awkward silence did nothing to help me open up, I would have loved questions to help guide the conversation but it was incredibly uncomfortable. I may as well have flushed the money down the loo. You get very generic worksheets which are all well and good but I can not say the sessions felt personal to me. It would be waaaaay better if they do more taster sessions with different therapists so you get a chance to gel with someone at the start instead of paying so much off the bat. For me to say “I don’t know what else to say” to try and fill the silences was baffling, she looked half asleep and could not be bothered. They came out with the odd textbook quote but she never asked the deep dive questions as i genuinely don’t think she was bothered. My last session was cut short with her saying “I think we have discussed everything we need” errrrr ok 👌🏼. 25 mins for £60 is a complete rip off. I would recommend people to try independent therapists who offer a free consultation as that is the only way you really know for sure if they are good for you

Easy to navigate, and very helpful for beginners. Therapy should always be THIS easy and accessible.

I have been matched with a great therapist. I sent an email asking questions about how to makeup a missed session due to being on vacation. The customer service was helpful. I've been pleased with the service I received.
