Betterhelp is not able to give official diagnosis, however that does not mean that the therapists there don't know what they're doing. the price is reasonable, (considering that therapy is expensive as heck anyway), and the app is super easy to use. being able to mesaage your therapist at any time, which i believe is Betterhelp's biggest up side, is huge for anyone who just wants support and information. would greatly recommend

Betterhelp is a great service if previous free counselling services have failed you. I signed up and wasn't sure at first about the cost but was emailed offering me lower costs and a free session, due to me being out of work on disability, but they have other plans to help you if you can't quite afford it, I think it's £80 a week. You can message them at any time but you get 1 free hour session a week with them. You get a therapist chosen, based on a bunch of questions and I feel for me they got this right, my therapist is very understanding and as someone who struggled to get to feel comfortable talking to new people, she is very good but you can also choose a new therapist at anytime, if you feel you aren't making a connection. I've personally fell to addiction and stuff in the past and if your going through something, this is definitely a better thing to be spending money on, just give it a chance, the people who work on betterhelp are very highly qualified people, who want to help you

What a waste. After numerous obstacles and authentications, I finally had a therapy session in which I explained my situation to which I was told that I have too much for online therapy. Don't you understand when someone takes the effort to finally try and get help and get this response will cause them to shutdown? I am out the money and time and more importantly, the emotional energy to explain my situation to a hapless counselor who could only say I'm sorry that is terrible for you. Yes I know I am living in it every day. There is a 9 month wait for in person counseling. Maybe I will have enough motivational energy to try again by then.

I've only been with better Help for a short time, but I appreciate the way the counselor listens to me and doesn't interject and tells me that I don't feel the way I feel or have disconcern I towards me like people do to me face to face just right good service

Listening therapy is wrong as it doesn't fix any issues not practical nor emotional. Therapists are poor. I was paid member when desperate once and using this site only made things even worse.
