Better Help uses steps that match you with a therapist very easily. I feel like they got it right on the first try.

Very convenient and affordable.

BetterHelp's service is as efficient as it describes. And they have a wonderful support team. When I canceled my membership for financial reasons, BetterHelp made a thoughtful arrangement and gave me warm advice. Their advice is professional and neat, delivered with a human touch. I greatly appreciate it and will definitely consider returning when the situation allows.

I am so grateful for BetterHelp. Live sessions with local therapists had me dealing with constant turnover as people would move on to new positions. I was constantly having to start over from scratch with someone new. Just about the time we started going anywhere with therapy, the new person would leave. It was a struggle that didn’t really get me much of anywhere with my mental health. With BetterHealth, I’ve had two therapists over several years — and the change was to find a therapist because I needed someone who meshed with me better. My first therapist with BetterHelp was good. My current therapist is fabulous. I’ve recommended BetterHelp to so many people and to a couple of online groups.

BetterHelp is a great way to access therapy. The range of skilled practitioners and ease of access mean you can speak to someone who can start helping with issues quickly. In the past the idea of finding a therapist seemed daunting to me, and I didn’t work on things. BetterHelp removed those barriers and I’m already seeing the results in my life. Highly recommend.

I don't think they particularly vet their therapists, or hold them to quality standards, which means the therapy is still cheap. I think it may put people off therapy once they do this and don't find themselves able to change or get as much as they expected from it. I have moved on to a private therapist and found it 10x more rewarding.

I've been to several psychotherapists in my day and I've tried about 4 at Betterhelp. They were all empathic and very nice, but unfortunately they don't have the experience/expertise that they claim to have. I have a specific problem/cognitive distortion that I wanted to fix, and sought out CBT therapists and they all claimed to be that, but in the end all they did was do the "normal talking" thing and not get to the root of the problem. All in all, I've had absolutely no improvements using this site. I've had better help from family and friends. Would not recommend.
