What makes my experience at better help great is the unconditional connection I have with my therapist miss Amanda she is aswome and genuinely cares about helping others is respect and admire that great quality i feel very humbled and greatful to have such a great therapist who is so empathetic and encouraging and will help you find the best solution for whats going on and will never be abrasive or make anything awkward or uncomfortable for anyone instead give them the time they need buy being patient with them and give them the tools they need to begin fixing themselves in there own time and always remind them that they are not fighting this battle alone I have made so much progress with my the help of my therapist so far and theres so much more to come but I am never rushed instead be proud of the little accomplishments we've achieved already and from that build off of that with a positive prepsective and keep moving forward inch buy inch slowly but surely be able to achieve my dreams and goals. Ich bin fassungslos darüber, dass Menschen mit gravierenden Problemen abgezockt werden. Ich selbst habe Unterstützung gesucht in einem Moment, in dem ich endlich dafür bereit war. Leider kam die große Ernüchterung gleichzeitig mit der Abbuchung von Konto ohne erfolgte Leistung. Ich hatte zum Glück trotz meiner Probleme noch einen klaren Kopf und hab die Abzocke sofort bemerkt. Der Begründer oder die Begründerin dieser Seite sollte sich was schämen, aus dem Leid und verzweifelten Hilfsgesuch gestandener Menschen, die diese Unterstützung brauchen um weiterhin für ihre liebsten stark zu bleiben und eventuell, wie in meinem Fall selbst an bösartigen Krebs zu knabbern haben, einfach nur aufgefangen werden wollten. Widerlich und absolut abscheulich. Jeder wäre gerne finanziell abgesichert, aber wer Profit aus Leid erzielen will, dem soll der Blitz beim Scheissen treffen.

I sought therapy because I had been struggling for a long time with feelings of rejection, abandonment and believing there was something wrong with me. I was looking for a safe place to work through those experiences and begin to heal. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling hurt, confused, and abandoned. After discussing that I was coming off medication under the care of my psychiatrist, my therapy was ended very abruptly. My final session was cut short, and I don't believe I should have been charged for a session that ended so unexpectedly. I left feeling like I had spent a significant amount of money on therapy only for it to end without the care and closure I expected. What made this even more confusing was that, only a few weeks earlier, I had been told, "Let's take things slow." The week before my final session, I had also been given homework. Completing that homework was a big step for me, but it was never discussed because the therapy ended so suddenly. The way my therapy ended reopened the very wounds I had come to therapy to address. Since then, I have experienced increased feelings of rejection, nightmares, and insomnia. I appreciate that every client's experience is different, but this has been mine. I understand that therapists may decide a therapeutic relationship should end or that another approach is more appropriate. However, I expected clear communication, compassion, and a planned ending that allowed me to process what was happening. Instead, I left feeling rejected, confused, and without any meaningful closure. This review reflects my personal experience, and I hope the practice considers how profoundly the ending of therapy can affect clients who are already vulnerable. In response to Betterhelp comment, I am unsure what information you are requesting from me as there is nothing in your comment. But I understand you are trying to remove this review. I had 16 sessions with your company I am a valid customer. If you want more information then you have to physically ask for it, I can't read minds, there is no request in your reply. So frustrating.

I signed up for BetterHelp hoping to get professional support for my mental health. Instead, I've been let down twice by the same therapist and completely ignored by customer service. Session 1: Cancelled by the therapist 5 minutes before we were due to start. Session 2: Therapist was 5 minutes late, then claimed "technical issues" and the session never happened. I've now paid £160 for absolutely zero therapy sessions. I've wasted time preparing, rearranging my schedule, and getting myself mentally ready to open up, only to be messed about. I contacted BetterHelp asking for either a refund or reassignment with compensation. Their response? An automated reply that completely sidestepped my complaint. I'm now in a worse mental state than before I signed up, which is the opposite of what a mental health service should do. If you're considering BetterHelp, save your money and find a proper therapist elsewhere. This platform is unprofessional, unaccountable, and clearly doesn't care about its users.

I liked how you were given the option to change therapist if one doesn’t work well with you or you don’t feel connected. I also like that it’s international, however, there are some places that they need to include, which is why I docked one star. I had to cancel my membership due to them not able to send a verification code to my phone number because my country is not in their system yet. But other than that, it was a great service and a good bang for your buck.

Using BetterHelp to better myself was the greatest decision I could make. It’s like gifting yourself a infinite birthday or Christmas present being able to get things off your chest things that way your shoulders down and to talk about it with someone in a judge free zone really makes you feel better and you can open up more about yourself and find out who you really are find out more about yourself during your therapy sessions. I’m forever grateful for taking the time to get the help that I needed and I’m grateful that better help was my first option and I highly recommend recommended to everyone and anyone who needs help.

My first experience with BetterHELP was terrible. My therapist was late to session OK that happens but after we started she acutally talkedto her son once we were in live session. Clearly a HIPPA violation. Her internet connection was so bad she turned it off. In the middle of our session it again sounded like she was talking to someone else. I called her out of it and asked if I had her full attention, Very bad experience I asked Better Help to fire her due to HIPPA violation. DO NOT use DT in Spooner WI as your therapist if they do not fire her. Will give it one more try. no wonder folks quit therapy.
