Double charges 🤦🏽‍♀️
I keep getting charged twice a month. I reported it and no one has addressed my concerns. I get a generic email response saying someone will contact me soon, but I haven’t heard from anyone.

Hi Barbara, Apologies for any trouble. An automated email will go out letting you know we received your message, and you should get a follow up typically within 1 business day. Please check your SPAM or JUNK folders to see if our response ended up there! Your membership is either billed weekly, or every 4 weeks (28 days), which makes it possible to be billed twice in one calendar month if the first payment happened at the very beginning of the month.

As with the negative review below I've had the same issue when gifting therapy to a family member. I have been charged for 12 sessions of which he has only received 4. I contacted betterhelp to cancel the membership they confirmed in writing it was cancelled and I am still being billed. Rather than helping people they are scamming people when they are at their lowest. Do not give these people your bank details its an absolute scam.

Apologies if the billing agreement was not as clear as it could have been. By gifting a membership to someone else, you're gifting them access to the platform for 4 weeks at a time. That allows the opportunity to have a weekly session (so up to 4 live sessions per cycle). Per the agreement, the plan renews automatically every 4 weeks until you reach out and ask to stop paying, or until the person who's using the gift reaches out indicating they no longer want/need the service. If you are still being billed after our team confirmed cancellation of the gift, we want to make sure this is fixed and you are refunded for any charges that should not have taken place! I'll request the email address you used to contact us so we can reach out to you directly and get this sorted out.

BetterHelp, a valuable and convenient mental health resource
BetterHelp has been a valuable resource for me in navigating both personal and work-related mental health challenges.The platform allows me to connect with a therapist from the comfort of my own home, which has been especially helpful with my busy schedule. I appreciate the variety of options available, from individual therapy sessions to insightful classes and supportive group sessions. The journaling feature is also a great tool for self-reflection and tracking my progress. Overall, I've found BetterHelp to be a convenient,enjoyable and effective way to prioritize my mental well-being.

Need a more user-friendly interface
While I really like my therapist. Jackie Tasker. And I’m glad that I was matched with her, also that if we didn’t click that I could change easily enough. I’m disappointed with the better health system itself. The fact that you cannot talk with a human When you need information. Getting through the system online is not user-friendly. Not all of us are tech, friendly and in our 20s. I would like a more user-friendly interface. The only thing they do correctly and faithfully is deposit their money every month.
