I've used Betterhelp at two different transition points in life, a couple of years apart. Both times I found the therapist helpful, understanding, and well qualified. The ease of use (video call), the availability of the therapists that matches my availability, and the professionalism of the providers all add up to a meaningful and therapeutic experience. I recommend BetterHelp with no reservations about quality and availability.

Therapists are OK at best. The company is run by crooks. They will keep charging your account $400/month forever, until you cancel your credit card. They use every trick in the book to make you think you have cancelled your account, when there are still steps left. A nest of snakes. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Better help is a beneficial and valuable resource for mental health

I've heard really good things about this company. However unfortunately, even after applying for financial aid and being offered some discount, I am still unable to afford the help. I wish access to support wasn't as expensive.

I was hesitant at first about therapy sessions but this has been the best experience ever for me. I've benefited from both individual and group sessions. The convenience of having someone to talk to online has been wonderful. I would recommend doing the trial and attending a group session. You are not alone out there!!! Betterhelp helped me see that.

I have waited a few months to write this review as I wasn’t really sure how I felt. I thought maybe it was just me who ‘failed’ but it’s not me, it’s the company. I have used both better help and regain and I can say neither are bothered about you or your problems, it’s just easy money for the therapists. I went, both individually, and as part of a couple, with set issues and goals to achieve. The therapists don’t care. Weekly sessions are spent generally chit chatting and asking about your week, you never get to the issues, never given anything to work on between sessions. The therapists just come, remember who you are, ask the same questions as last time, then say see you next week. That’s it. I feel resentful for the money and time I have wasted but absolutely zero progress made either personally or in my relationship. Never again

Better Help matched me with a very helpful therapist on the first try. I find it easy to find times that work for me

I was pretty excited about this app and signed up for several classes while waiting to get with a therapist. Unfortunately, it literally felt like a slap in the face because the therapist leading the class on understanding Kahr values was trying to force us to say amen to everything he was saying several times. It was ironic because he was trying to explain that feelings are not facts yet he was shoving religion on us and one of the reasons that I have low self-confidence is that the religious people in my lives tell me that I’m not a good enough Christian and that’s why things aren’t perfect in my life. So, this was very damaging and now I don’t feel like I can trust to any external source for therapy. I did report and got my membership refunded, but they didn’t even apologize or explain any corrective action. I am all for religious freedom and that’s why we have a constitution, but you keep your religion within your fall walls of your home, and I’ll keep my religion within my four walls of my home. That’s one of the reasons America was even founded in the first place. Religious persecution is everywhere. there is no hate like Christian love.
