Just come back from Bella Italia in Walsall , £12.99 for a risotto that tasted bland and there wasn't much of it . My wife had spinach lasagne which was slightly better but I've had nicer from Aldi (which I do recommend) . The staff where friendly (although they didn't ask if we had enjoyed our meal) and the service was fairly good . Probably won't visit again ,there's better Italian restaurants in the Walsall area and I can park outside most of them without paying for a car park space.

Myself and my partner had one of the nicest Italian meals in a long time here after purchasing a deal via Groupon (this is still available and highly recommended). The waitress was extreemly nice and helpful explaining our menu options even pointing out the idea to order and share if we couldn't decide. I strongly recommend this place and most definitely to try the cookie dough dessert. Delilah 👌

Norwich Branch
I have visited the Red lion street Norwich restaurant a few times over the last few years and i really dont know why i keep going back. Probably because its convenient ( i can use tesco vouchers) and the fact that no one can be consistently bad. Or can they. Well it appears this branch can. I booked a table yesterday for 3 waited 15 minutes for the drink order to be taken. No Biggie. We ordered our food , waited and waited and waited. Enquired after 40 minutes about the food and was told the chicken takes 20 minutes .That doesn't add up but couple of minutes went by and was told as the waitress was passing the kitchen it had just come out of the oven. Bonus. No, the food was stone cold as were the chips on 2 meals whilst the third was piping hot a lasagna. I explained to the waitress and the manager came over full of apologies and said we could have the 2 cold meals free or he would recook which we declined as we had been there so long and were starving. So a £30 quid bill for a couple of pints a coke a lasagna and 2 cold burgers ,we left the chips Hence to say i would never go again however the riverside one is normally pretty good .

Fantastic Food and Service
I recently visited the East Kilbride branch with my dad for a meal before we went to the nearby cinema. We were served by a lovely girl named Stacey. She was really friendly and attentive. She knew were in a rush to catch our film so made sure we were served and ate quickly. I had pizza with ripiena crust (which Stacey recommended) and it was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Won't be going again
1st experience was awful! I went to the restaurant in the Grafton Centre, Cambridge. The waitress we had was unpleasant, unwelcoming and just rude in all. I had something in my drink, looked like a ticket, no harm but asked for a replacement and confirmed there was something in my drink. The waitress picked up the glass, stared at it, stared at me and walked off. No apology. Came back, shoved it on the table and abruptly asked what do we want for food (there was 2 of us dining). Ordered food, fine. No apology still. Food came, was really nice and was enjoying the atmosphere and noticed there was a thick black long hair inbetween my chicken and salad. I am blonde so there was no questing whether it was mine or not. Eventually got the waitress' attention and confirmed that the hair was in the middle of my food and I wish for this to be taken off the bill as we do not have time for them to cook another dish (as we were watching a film in 20 minutes). Again the waitress picked up the dish, looked at it (in front of the whole restaurant, embarrassing myself) and walked off. 10 minutes later, came back with the bill and gave it to the other person who I was dining with, no apology and walked off to get the card machine. When she came back she took the payment and walked off with no explanation and no apology! Made me feel really embarrassed.
I did contact Bella Italia regarding this and they just responded with a template response and a £20.00 voucher, not really caring about the experience I had.
I went back to the other branch in Cambridge and the experience was 100% better. Most likely because the waiter was so lovely and the restaurant was dead quiet so they had time to kill.
Overall, will not be going back again.
