I ordered this for my 89 year old mother. She still lives alone and had spent one night on the floor due to a fall. Now with her emergency button, she can get help immediately if this were to happen again. I did get a call from Bay Alarm Medical to check on her because they were detecting a power outage. This was due to the icy weather taking out her electricity and I was glad to get the notification. I hope we never have another fall or medical emergency but I feel she will get prompt attention if she needs it.

There are many challenges for aging parents and their children, especially when the parents are still living independently. Having the Bay Medical Alarm added was a very simple way to affirm their independence and offers a little peace of mind for them and the children that care for them.

We chose the product based on its reviews and the range it offered. The fob that you wear around the neck should be bigger - the button is small for an old person with stiff hands. The company is not flexible at all with the billing. If you sign up for a year, but if you cancel early, say 6 months in, no partial refund! They are also a little misleading with the discounts available. They offer several, but you can only apply one.
