I have had this service now for my mother who lives with me for the past two years and I cannot say enough good things about them. I had a bad streak with my mother when we were using the service about every other week for like two months and the response was great!! Most of the time I was at work and they always made sure to let the paramedics know there was two dogs in the house and where my keys were to open the door. They also called myself my sister, my husband and our kids every time my mother set off the alarm. Just when you know they will call everyone on the list you provided to them. I got my mom the Bay Alarm system after my dad passed in March. It provided the feeling of security she needed (and honestly, I needed just as much!). It was more economical than the alarm systems that advertise on TV and radio, too, so that was a bonus. The service reps were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, as well. Bay Alarm was put to the test in August when my mom fell during the night on a trip to the bathroom. She had removed her remote when she went to bed and set it on her nightstand, as was her precaution against rolling over on it during the night an setting it off. So when she fell at the end of her bed, the remote was across the room. It took her over an hour to pull herself over to it; she had broken her hip AND wrist in the fall. When she finally reached the button, Bay Alarm's response was immediate. Because my mom couldn't answer the call, they immediately called me and my other siblings, but it was 3:00 a.m., and we didn't answer either, so they dispatched EMS. Thank God, because we wouldn't have found her until later that afternoon when my brother did his daily checks. Who knows what state she may have been in by then! When we got the messages from Bay Alarm, we called back and were brought up to speed on what transpired, and where she had been taken. Needless to say, we were extremely grateful for the help Bay Alarm provided. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

We have been clients of Bay Alarm for several years. Both of my parents have the alarm necklaces. On the occasion when the "button was pressed," a representative from Bay Alarm is right there, ready to send help. In the event that the button was pressed accidentally, Bay Alarm was understanding and patient while they made sure my parents were okay. My siblings and I are happy to know that my parents are never truly alone when we are not around. Bay Alarm has given us all freedom and safety!

I have had no problem with the service. The alarm has gone off by mistake and the people who respond are polite and friendly. I consoider this outstanding service

I feel safe when I leave my mother, who is 94, at home alone, because of Bay Alarm. She has many times, accidentally pressed her bracelet. When she does, our phone rings right away. The person on the phone is so kind when they find out it is not an emergency and always kindly says "tell your mom to press her button whenever she feels the need." Once our phone was out. She accidentally pressed her bracelet. Because the company could not ring our phone they sent the ambulance for my mom. Thank goodness it was not a real emergency, bur nevertheless the company followed thru on their promise. I recommend this company.

Great for our saftey

We researched online several medical alert systems that offered fall protection. In our review, Bay Alarm Medical was head and shoulders above the others so we entered into a contract. The equipment arrived promptly and the installation and testing went smoothly. It needed to because my spouse for whom we purchased the service was going to be home alone for more than a week since I would on business in the Middle East. Just prior to my departure, we got a recall notice and the notice told us not to use the fall detection button! This totally defeated the purpose of us getting the service in the first place. Time went on and I finally had to call and express my anger about the "lack" of fall detection. I cancelled and lost six months of expenses. And I don't think that they have replaced the fall detection buttons to their customers . . . and it's been a few weeks.

Fortunately the only time I have had them respond was when I used my body to brace opening a jar. It set off the alarm...they quickly inquired if assistance was needed, identified themselves and ask if I needed help. Monthly charge is lower than some, and I like the idea of being able to cancel whenever I want.
