While the ordering and receiving went well the return did not, We received the alarm but never activated it, Didn't even open most of it. Never returned information pages.Had to return system since things changed for mother and it was no longer needed. When I called inquiring about a possible partial refund was told no. So far all has been excellent service. The people whom I have called to get my system set up correctly have been very polite and cooperative in handling my questions. Nothing of any mechanical misfunctions have occurred. Though I have had the system only a couple of months, all has gone well thus far.

We only have had the system for a little while and have had 2 equipment replacements and had several false alarms. When my mother really did have a stroke the system did not work. My nephew found her on the floor. The equipment changes were incontinent and confusing. Would not in good concience recommend this system to anyone.

We bought this unit a month ago while my grandmother was in and out of a care center and it initially worked great when we set it up, then 2 weeks in it started saying the internet strength was weak...(we never moved the unit for 2 weeks, it worked fine). We also bought the wall adapter incase of power outage (which most people would purchase). The units lights completely went out and it died. I called to trouble shoot and got Monica, instead of good customer service she puts me on hold as she talks to her supervisor. He then informed her now we owe them $200 because the unit was damaged....due to power surge OR power failure! I bought the plug in to prevent that from happening and she told me there was nothing more she could do and that we could not get a replacement without sending the unit back and paying another $200. This is a sure way to cause more stress to your family and your loved one who needs this kind of help. Please do not make the mistake I did and read over all the negative comments. They are TRUE. This company is a SCAM! As stated below it was a "misunderstanding" now I was told twice by Monica that I was to pay $200 to get a new system, if it was my grandmother calling they would have taken her to the cleaners!!! Not a proper way to run any business, I am worried for all the elderly that they have taken advantage of in the past and in the future due to inexperienced staff. After a lot of unnecessary upset and time wasted the problem has been corrected.

Thank God that I have not had to use my alert system. However, I did receive a call one day that my system was disconnected. It turns out that the breaker switch had tripped and I was unaware of this. So, they are on their toes! Thank you Bay Alarm. I feel much better knowing you are around! Debbie

Really terrible service! No one there knows what's going on! In the past, I used this service and recommended it to several friends, that was until the company informed us our unit needed to be replaced. Bay alarm sent out a replacement unit that did not work, when I called their agent they said technical support was closed so I couldn't get help to the next day. Also, They didn't send out the right amount of new emergency buttons- we were told the old buttons weren't compatible with our old system, but when I called to order the extra button, the phone agent said they were compatible. When I made another call to a manager, she said they are not compatible, so basically, had I not checked, the alarm button my mom wears would not have activated the new unit they sent out. Use a different company that knows what it is doing.
