Bay Medical has no heart. We were customers with them for years. My mother passed away yesterday. Bay medical expects the equipment to be returned at my cost and they also, even under these extenuating circumstances refuse to issue a refund for the unused time. In addition, they threatened to put me into collections if I do not return their equipment. Beware of this company THIS IS A UPDATE---- I have been contacted by Bay Medical and have been promised that they will send me a pre addressed label to return the equipment and that they are now willing to pro rate a refund. If the follow through than my opinion will have changed. I just wish they had not made me jump through hoops to get a satisfactory resolution. Their service was good while I had it and can recommend them for that.

My father-in-law accidentally set off the alarm 3 times. The button protrudes slightly and not recessed like other brands. He takes it off to sleep, so he doen't set off the alarm. He needs it most in the night.

I did as recommended, and the system was spot on. In an absence from my residence I received a phone call on my cell and was told that the electric was down at my residence. That was great to know, and I checked with NV Energy who said the electricity was down and restored. Great service from Bay Alarm. I feel comfortable since I have had Bay Alarm. I have Multiple Sclerosis, and falls can happen in unpredictably. I am able to get up, however if I fell and injured myself that may not be the case. It is nice to know that I have a button to push that will get help for me if required.

I was told by your representative that the only options I have for payment is through my credit card or bank account. I would prefer to pay by check or at least be billed so that I can pay electronically. I would be willing to pay quarterly or even yearly if I wouldn't have to let your company have access to my credit card or bank accounts. I am considering cancelling your service because this method of payment is not comfortable for me.

Unlike other Bay Alarm programs, there appears to be limited options (e.g. device purchasing) for the Medical Alert program.

I had issues with getting the base unit to work, enough internet strength to work consistently but I pushed the help button and connected by phone and had a very friendly and helpful person who stuck with me and my technical inadequacy to get it done correctly!
