I'm in Australia where everything retailed is generally a lot more expensive. I needed to buy a loose diamond for a custom-made ring and after several weeks of mind-bending research and communicating with online dealers decided to go with B2C. I interacted with all of the major online dealers listed on Pricescope (highly recommend you use this site - fantastic comparison of all the players) and, for the quality of the stones, B2C were almost ALWAYS the most competitively priced. Johnny and the other guys (Simon Rio) were extremely responsive and always got a gemologist's opinion on the stones I enquired about. I was slightly skeptical about buying online and because of the less fancy name and consistently lower prices (B2C versus 'Blue Nile' for example) took a while researching the company and pretty much everything I read was in line with what I'm writing now - less glitz about the website but great service and most importantly the same or better quality for much less. Just pure value for money. For what I paid (for a 1.37ct pear, D, VVS@, EX cut EX polish Ex Symmetry) I was offered 1ct, F VS2 with Very Good all round from the cheapest local retailer, and they were a very well known and highly priced chain. I ordered from Australia and received the diamond 4 days later by Fed Ex and was contacted at every turn. Could not be happier or recommend these guys enough. The whole diamond buying thing is a headspin so I was at least determined to get the best price for all my time spent learning about the things! My fiancee is amazed and really is wearing a great size and quality rock and I look like I spent even more of a fortune on it that I did. Very, very happy. This is a great little company.

I was a little apprehensive about making such an expensive purchase "sight unseen" online, but B2C Jewels made the whole experience very easy and pleasant. I was able to see an actual close-up image and ASET image of the stone that I was interested in, and also the GIA certificate plus all relevant dimensions and grades. There was a little bit of a snag caused by me using my work address for delivery rather than the credit card billing address, but Melwin was there every step of the way to work it out and get the diamond shipped within 2 days of ordering. These things happen, and it was my fault for not letting the card issuer know in advance, but the way a company deals with it and how responsive they are tells me a lot about them and the people that they employ. I must have received 5 or 6 phone calls and just as many emails from Melwin as he worked through the process of getting everything verified. The diamond itself arrived very (and I do mean very) securely packaged and nicely presented. And what a stunner it is! I'm beyond thrilled that I was able to get a > 1ct GIA certified internally flawless Princess cut diamond with excellent polish and symmetry for around $4K. That's a lot less than a mall store would be asking for a 1ct Princess cut with SI1 / SI2 clarity as graded by some lab nobody has ever heard of, not the industry leading GIA certification that most of B2C's diamonds come with. All in all this was a thoroughly satisfactory experience, and I look forward to doing business with B2C and Melwin in future.

Buying a loose diamond is very overwhelming. B2C Jewels made it much easier because it has a lot more varieties compare to other companies and they have a lot of helpful informations on each of diamonds you are looking for. I had a few in mind wasn't sure exactly which one I wanted to choose. Rio came to my rescue and told me which one out of the rest was one that was perfect. I received my item very quickly and I was blown away from the clarity of the diamond. My financee loved it very much too. Thank you so much Rio and B2C Jewels!
