We strive to make our service as seamless and transparent as possible, and we regret that this was not your experience. Your concerns are fully acknowledged, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide clarification. While certain serious offenses may remain on a report indefinitely, many minor offenses are excluded if more than seven years have passed. If court records do not show a conviction, that information is not reported. A formal judgment must be present for a record to appear in a background check. Additionally, many state and local laws impose further limits on what can be reported. If you'd like assistance understanding your state and local regulations, we're happy to help.
