AT&T service is excellent. Next day installation, and the technicians are professional and courteous. The customer serve department handles and a dresses all your issues in a timely manner. If you need to port your number in, there is no problem whatsoever. If I were you, I would make the switch the today.

When I called AT&T for the first time I was lost. After being on the phone with my representative he made me feel at ease with my placement of my order and I thank him very much. His name was Tyler.

I ordered new service and they had me set up with my appt in 3 days time. This was a great turnaround time to me. When the tech came out to install it he said the fiber was cut somewhere so another team had to come out and repair it. Then he said I would be contacted with a new appt time to install it. There was no word on the repair date but I saw 2 at&t vans for 2 days in a row so I thought they were repairing it. A couple of days later I got an e-mail saying my new appt was 20 days down the road. I called up right away because there was no way I was going to wait that long. (I would have went with Cox if I did have to wait that long but I didn't say that when talking to customer service.) Customer service was helpful by calling my local install center and got me with an install date for 2 days later. I was wondering why they didn't check with them to begin with. Anyway the tech came out and installed everything and it is great so far. After it was installed on 2 separate days repair men came to the house to fix my line and to bury the new line. I wasn't sure what they were talking about because I already had service so it didn't seem like communication was flowing from place to place. All in all, it was worth it and I am enjoying my service.

I switched over from TWC and AT&T made the experience easy and pleasant. My order was taken promptly, equipment arrived quickly and service started on time. When I had a billing question it was handled pleasantly. A technician had to come to the house for some wiring issues (old house) and he was professional, courteous and thorough. Everyone I talked with acted as if they wanted me to have a good experience with AT&T.

I left AT&T internet years ago after being frustrated with dropping. I am happy to report that the DSL service has vastly improved. Quick internet is important to our home and business. The representatives have been very helpful, and worked through my orders. Some have had to learn new procedures, others were on it and knew what to do. Our phone systems require some advanced knowledge to work with, so those who knew what to do saved me half the time on the phone. My only down side was my internet order not going through the first time. This may have been a communication problem, or just a mistake on the representatives end. The service technician that installed my internet help me get it running. I can't say how much I appreciated this extra effort. It also saved me a lot of time in set up.

I was so excited to have internet. However when my first bill generated I was very upset to have an additional charge of 99 dollars. I was aware that I would pay a one time fee for the equipment which is fine, but come to find out because I "didn't bundle with tv or phone" there would be an additional one time fee. Shouldn't that be something you're told upfront at the time of purchase? I'd almost rather pay less for a crappier carrier. I cannot bundle because Uverse television is not offered in the area I stay and I've had a phone contract with att for over 12 years! I won't bundle that because it is a family plan. Nonetheless I find it unfortunate that there was no fine print for me to read.

I first contacted AT&T to get internet service. When speaking with the rep I was not pressured into looking at additional products, which was a relief from the usual phone calls to companies. Once the info was relayed to me about the internet set up I then asked about possibly getting cable service. The convenience of not having to get a satellite, which is a hassle where I stay, was good to find out. The appointment was set up within a couple days of contacting them. Once the installer got here he was very professional & got everything set up in a timely manner. We have enjoyed the service since it was set up and have had no issues. I really wish I had known this info sooner to have had it set up months ago.
