Useless chatbot
Useless chatbot, took me an eternity to submit a support ticket (had to do it through sales), and they were trying to upsell me there too. LOL.

Paying for the service but unable to login, support haven't got back to us for 5 days.

Stay far away from Asana! Their licensing system is fundamentally flawed and can lead to significant, unjustified costs for your company. Suppose your company's email domain is @xyzcompany.com, and you have 20 registered Asana users. If another 30 employees with the same company email don’t use Asana for work but someone like Joe Bloggs signs up with his work email to manage a not-for-profit project after hours, Asana will still charge your company for his account. Worse yet, they refuse to allow you to remove such unintended accounts from your billing. Our attempts to resolve this were met with a support team that was worse than useless, not just in handling this issue but across all general support queries—completely unresponsive and ineffective. Avoid Asana at all costs and consider alternatives like Monday.com or ClickUp to steer clear of this kind of licensing and support nightmare.

I tried using Asana, but it automatically started a paid plan. I contacted support to request a downgrade because I couldn't do it myself, but the support team required too much verification and ultimately, it was not downgraded. I continued using it, and now I've lost access to my tasks because it requires payment. I used Todoist before, and it was nice. Now, it seems I must pay to access my tasks in Asana.

As other people have mentioned, this company is an absolute sham. Tried the free trial, didn't like it and cancelled. 12 months later they took £274 out of my account. Spoke to support and despite me telling them it was a mistake, they just referred to the subscriber agreement. I am now disputing this with my card company. If you getting scammed too then make sure you query the transaction with the bank, all banks offer this facility. They will not win If you are considering signing up, don't. Look at teamwork, trello or clickup. All of which treat their customers much better. And offer a better platform too at more reasonable prices.

Took money out of my card out of the blue. I signed up for a trial back in early 2023. They say that the first year was free, which was a total lie. It is disgusting that a company like this is taking advantage of smaller businesses like this. We are looking at taking small claims court action against them to get the money back; they are clearly fraudsters and so desperate for money that they even lie/manipulate things to get it. Do not trust them with your details; you will regret it.

Thieves. No other way to describe them. By some underhanded, surreptitious manner they have managed to find the details of my new debit card and billed that without agreement or authorization. My billing was only ever associated to a card I was forced to cancel as it no longer physically functioned. Before I had the chance to either decide whether or not to continue with the Asana subscription and update billing details - they managed to find the new card info and billed it after I received 2 failed payment emails - related to the original card. This is pure fraud. The result of which will be as many fraud cases I can file anywhere and everywhere I can. This type of behaviour is unacceptable - companies that can't do better should be called out and suffer whatever consequences can be levied against them. Avoid at all costs!

The worst custom service I had ever met. There's a technical mistake in my checkout who charged me the wrong amount of money (5 times than I chose), I reported it immediate to the support and want to get a refund then re-subscribe. However, what I got is delayed rely, endless advertisements for new offer, indifferent attitude. When I clearly stated I want no more offer and get a refund asap, they stop replying and closed my case without my permission. Very disappointed at this experience.
