The Most Dishonest Business Practices…
The Most Dishonest Business Practices I’ve Ever Experienced with Asana! I purchased a single paid license for my own use. The people collaborating on my projects were using free accounts — they didn’t need paid licenses. What did Asana do? Without my consent, they automatically increased my plan first to two licenses, and then to fifteen. I never authorized this. I never agreed to it. And I certainly never requested it. This is outright theft of customer funds. I personally did not increase the user limit. Asana did this on their own, without approval, and then sent a meaningless notification email that no one would ever interpret as a binding agreement to charge hundreds of extra dollars. When I contacted their support team, they blamed me and told me I should have read their notification. This is pure manipulation and a scam tactic. They deliberately designed this process to trick users into being charged for things they never wanted or agreed to buy. I am demanding a full refund, and I am shocked that in today’s world, a company can act this unethically. I came to Asana because I wanted a helpful product. Instead, I was deceived and ripped off. Be very careful. Asana can silently upgrade your plan, inflate your license count without clear approval, and drain your money—then hide behind shady policies. This company has lost all trust and integrity. What they did to me was not just bad customer service. It was fraud.
