The wood of the door was plain and boring very different from what I was shown, The order was wrong, pretty much everything was a disappointment. Although the door is beautiful and the hardwood is top notch, I was very disappointed that the chalkboard itself seems to merely be chalkboard paint. It is not a high-quality chalkboard and doesn't wipe clean with water. In fact, the chalk imprints the board leaving permanent marks. I was also discouraged that the default height on the website is 6'. I didn't think to confirm this (my bad) so my door came 8" short for the frame. I wish there had been a caveat on the site that although 6' is the default height, it is not a standard door height.

Beautiful hand crafted barn door! It was just as I ordered, and their communication throughout the process was great. Highly recommend!

The door looked great to begin with but I soon realized that some of the reclaimed wood that was on the surface was falling apart. I had to glue some of the pieces back that came off especially where some of the knots were. The door guide was too short and I had to modify it to make it work.
