I gave it as a gift and it went past the 30-day return policy by a couple of days so they wouldn't return it even though it was a gift and I didn't want it. It was too expensive over $300 to just give to someone randomly so I had to keep it even though I had something already. Then it malfunctioned wouldn't work at all and they told me to send the old one back and it would send me a new one and they charge me $39 to ship back a defective unit. They didn't work with me at all.

We bought the Aquatru (glass) Carafe, because I wanted access to water low in TDS but not have to buy plastic bottles, and found that Aquatru is the best in quality and price. We've been using Aquatru for about six weeks, and we are extremely happy with our purchase. I bought an additional glass carafe to keep in the fridge, and it's been great! The fact that I don't need to change a filter for six months is definitely my money's worth. And although you do need to descale the unit (like a distiller), it is cheap and easy. Additionally, ordering was a breeze and the delivery came in a timely manner, with no problems.
