Dear Ameriglide. I have researched many different companies and lifts. I was drawn to Ameriglide first by the ease and clarity of your site. The immediate response with the on-line operator who answered a couple questions then connected quickly via telephone was uncomplicated and informative. He answered all my questions completely and carefully. He was kind, helpful and efficient making my purchase seem easy. During the order he sent clear instructions on how to get accurate measurements. Flawless experience so far. Can’t wait for delivery and installation!

Parts missing, difficult to install. Videos not accurate to model of dumbwaiter we have. Tech support not very helpful.

I received the Dumb waiter in good shape . However, the directions were highly anemic. No glossary of terms, and many assumptions made. In spite of the lack of info, and many un answered phone calls, I manage to put the unit together. But this is where the real problems began. It would not function correctly. I finally made contact with the service dept.. The service man was kind enough to send me the correct directions, but at this point they only served to show me that I had made a proper assembly of this unit. But, the unit still did not operate correctly . The service man tried talking me through the operation. The unit became damaged when it bypassed the upper limit switch, and jammed into the top sprocket damaging the frame, and sprocket and braking the chain. After waiting 10 days for the newly purchased parts, I spent more than 11 hours in the shaft 20 some feet up dislodging the car, lowering it by hand, replacing the parts and running the chain. That done, I called service once again. They walked me through the wiring I did. Checked all wires top to bottom three times. Everything was correct. Now they had me open the control box and follow all the wires. This has taken an additional 3 hrs.. Low and behold, they had reversed two wires at the factory. Y1 and Y2. He had me change them around . At this point we ran the car again. Everything word perfectly. All lights functioned. No apologies from the Company. No reimbursement for time lost.
