I have ongoing problems from the time of the instillation of the lift. The measurements which were made by me according to the instructions of the salesman were incorrect. The recording he made of our conversation show he was wrong. A second issue is the operation of the lift. The ride is very rough and there are cracking and popping noises as the lift goes up and down. The third problem is with their customer service. I have spoken to both the salesman and someone in customer service. Both were going to get back to me, but neither has and although I have called both of them several times, neither has called me back. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!

We are awaiting installation of the 2nd stair lift purchased from your company. the first one has been simply fabulous, and everything went perfectly smooth when we bought it. The 2nd should'nt be any different except for one thing. You should review your policy of requiring payment in full before installation. We finalized the sale and paid the salesman on Jan 28th. A few days later he called and said there was a problem obtaining the correct model, and we would receive the lift delivered directly to our house (???) in "a few days." As of Feb 11 there was no stair lift at our door. I called and was told that, according to your E-mail ( I received no E-mail) the lift would arrive at my house by COB Feb 12, and the installers would call to schedule the installation by Feb 14. From the customer's viewpoint, there would normally be no anxiety on my part, except for the small fact that you have had my money for 2 weeks.

Just ordering new batteries for our stair lift, as we are approaching expected lifetime of the battery pair. First set lasted 2.5 years, even though manual suggests replacing every 1.5 years. Second set is going on 3 years so are likely getting close to end of life. AmeriGlide has the battery package available still at the same old price! Good service, helpful and knowledgable staff.

The stair lift was delivered in a reasonable time and was complete.

I contacted Ameriglide hoping to purchase an urgently needed new power control for my handicapped husband's lift chair. After several days, was told could not get the part. Said I could purchase new chair. How much I asked. Was told depended on style and fabric. But offered no photo choices for selection and pricing. No follow up phone call came. I took my business elsewhere and had a new chair within 48 hours. Customer Service and communication makes all the difference in sale or no sale.

I am very satisfied with AmeriGlide and their service, their representative was very friendly, courteous and helpful and answered all my questions and concerns and I definitely recommend doing business with this company.😁

The Ameriglide – Rave 2 Stair Lift (straight, one floor) was delivered (01/12/2022) to my home in southern California 10 days after order. My Ameriglide contact was Austin Sanchez who did an excellent job at taking the stair measurements and fulfilling my order promptly and accurately. I, age 84, installed the lift myself the following weekend with absolutely no problems. I used the Stair Lift installation instructions and the Ameriglide YouTube video as installation guides. My wife and I are exceedingly happy with the purchase and the lift’s operation. Here are some observations and comments about the installation for the benefit of anyone purchasing the same unit as I: 1. The rail could have been a few inches longer. I had to change the bottom landing rail gap to the floor to 3.00 inches rather than the ½ inch recommended ensuring enough rail at both the top and bottom. 2. After installation and during test operations, a “clank, clank, clank” sound was heard. I correctly concluded that the plastic rack sections were not adequately squeezed together using the adjusting screw at the rail top. It took about four days of tightening the screw for the rack sections to seat and to stop the “clanking.” 3. This rail installation was over thick carpeted stairs requiring retightening of the four bolts on each rail support. Eventually, the carpeting under the four supports will squeeze solid. 4. Warning: Our stairs are 31.5 inches wide. Anything less than that could cause one's knees to hit the stair’s hand railing.
