Terrible exam and glasses. Haven’t been able to see well since trying Americas best for the first (and last) time. I went to another eye doctor a couple months later so I could see again. Americas best would not take the glasses back or stand behind their services. Doctor and staff were very fast paced to the point of get you in and out rather than focusing on the quality of service. Typical franchise type service.

Nothing but great things to say!!! William store manager at Westward plaza.. Definitely a keeper… great costumer service and amazing peoples skills.. I recently purchase eyeglasses for my entire family…I highly recommend… thank you William for all your help and assistance

Bottom line, I spent $400 which included an eye exam and 2 pairs of glasses (1 computer and 1 distance). The distance glasses don't work for driving. I can't read road signs that are more than 30 feet away (just too blurry). I took the glasses back, and they couldn't do anything for me because 30 days had past since the eye exam. I complained to the main office, and here's the email I sent. Hello, I got new glasses from the Petaluma store, and the prescription was wrong. The glasses work well for close range (up to 30 feet), but things are blurry longer distance particularly for road signs. I went back to the store to explain my situation, and was told there's only a 30 day warranty. The optometrist required a face mask during the entire exam, and her equipment fogged up from my breathing, so I would have to hold my breath at times. I felt rushed through the exam, and feel that's the reason why the prescription was wrong. I'm now having to take a $400 loss and will be going to another optometrist. Needless to say, I'm greatly disappointed with my experience at the Petaluma America's Best store.

First eye exam and bifocals. I was initially happy with the service and glasses and went there because I don't have vision insurance and they're cheap. Well...you get what you pay for. Two pairs of bifocals and one pair of reading glasses. The arms on two keep loosening up so I frequently need them adjusted so they don't keep sliding down my face. One pair an arm fell off. My Foster Grant readers stay intact for many months. Ironic "America's Best" frames are all made in China. I'm going elsewhere for my next glasses because these are not worth the hassle.

Trash company. I've had the same prescription in both eyes my whole life and this idiot lowered the prescription for each eye so I had to buy two different boxes. Pathetic way to make extra money, enjoy your $120 for the exam I'm not buying the lenses, going somewhere else. On top of that, I have to wait two weeks for the lenses. You ordered them for nothing, because I'm not buying them. Going to get an exam at Walmart.

August 2022-I have never in my entire life experienced the worst customer service ever but at this location! The manager is a, excuse my french (HORRID)!!! I can only image what the employees are going through while working for this horrible person! This is my first time ever using this company to get my eye exam, glasses & contacts. This is also the last time in life that I use this company again! Out of the 30 years that I have used contacts & glasses I have never heard of anyone forcing someone to use a specific brand of contacts just because they used one as a trial pair! Again as a trial pair! I also stated while at my appointment that I am used to one brand (ACUVUE 2) and that I am happy with this specific brand! The staff stated they didn't have it in stock so I used the Softmed brand as a trial! Once my order came in for my glasses I picked them up at this store location, mind you the atmosphere/Vibe in this store seemed very divided & weird anyway! While speaking with the nice African American lady there, she should be promoted to management ASAP & boot the current manager out! She was very helpful when I asked to get my contact prescription written out or emailed to me so that I can order my own contacts, on my own time! She wrote it on the script pad but I noticed the brand name Softmed was at the bottom but didn’t think that I would have a problem. I also noticed while she was helping me, the manager of this store was close by kinda eyeing and over looking our interaction as well, which made me feel like he is a problem to work with! Corporate should interview all employees at this location as well to get what their experience is with that manager and I can put my money on the fact that he is a horrible person to most of them if he treats customers this way! So fast forward to present day October 12, 2022, I finally order my contacts online and the company still came America’s Best to verify the script. The company emailed me not even 1 hour late stating they spoke with the manager and he stated that the ACUVUE 2 is not a valid script and the company couldn’t not order this for me! Oh!, what a big inconvenience this is for me as the paying customer! Once again, I have done this for 30 years and have never had a company contact me stating they cannot go on with my order due to my script being invalid! Once again! FIRE this manager ASAP!!!!!! I will be posting this to all social medias and outlets worldwide letting all customers know how we are treated as PAYING customers!

!!!!THIEVES!!!They made the glasses wrong twice. The prescription was so WRONG it was Painful to wear. on top of that they insist on stealing a 100$ of the refund. there adds are complete fraud! tripple what they say to get you in the door! the girl at the counter could not even work her computer. !!!THIEVES!!!

I bought 2 pairs of glasses at W Melbourne FL on 7/8/22. Never told that the lenses were plastic. Within 2 months they are already scratched. Yes, I keep them in case when not in use. The sunglasses are worse, I cannot read signs when driving. My eyes had a hard time adjusting so now I wear my LensCrafters glasses which have glass lenses even though they are old they are certainly better than these. Over $500 out the window.
