American Van LinesReviews of americanvanlines.com

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and speed that the movers packed, wrapped, and loaded our furniture. At the new home they set up all furniture cleaned up all packing materials. It was an efficient operation from start to finish!

the packers came with all kinds of supplies, but did not "re-pack" all of the boxes. I was charged for them to pack them, for insurance purposes, but they only repacked 2 boxes, and combined 4 small boxes into 1 of their big boxes.

I had a great move the driver and crew worked very good together getting the truck loaded and unloaded.

This company used to be good, but they are pieces of dog shit now. What they do is they lie to you on the phone and tell you that they are delivering your stuff when they’re actually outsourcing it with a bunch of illegals from Los Angeles. They quote you one Price which is ridiculous to begin with and you pay it and then they add to it with these third-party contractors in order for you to get your things you have to pay more. Told American van lines specifically no third-party contractors and they did it anyway. Now we are going to sue the piss out of them. They broke a bunch of stuff lost things and did not pick up everything they were supposed to And charge $2500 more than what was quoted. Do not use American Van lines Unless you want to be ripped off!!

It was great experience from beginning to the final section. They packed and moved my stuff with care! Crew was very professional and polite! I will use American Van lines again for any future moves!

They contracted out my move to some third-party in violation of our agreement after increasing the cost estimate by 1K each time we talked after we had already committed and couldn't swap to another business. They broke a ton of stuff and have ignored the claim I submitted 3 weeks ago. I can't get anyone to answer the phone or pay me the money owed. Update on Dec 1: They still haven't paid me anything, but they are starting to offer me low amounts of money. It's been months of back and forth. They are the worst.

The office staff and driver were reliable, knowledgeable and professional. Our move went smoothly from beginning to end. Thank you.

Broke and left scratch marks on furniture, then tried to cover it up with magic marker. Lost items such as glass shelves, tool box with tools. Boxes had large holes in them. Took 2 hour lunch time while unloading. Didn't arrive when they said they would.
