I'm 5'9", was excited about finding tall jackets with longer sleeves. Ordered 3 jackets in size L--one fit, one was a size too small, one was a size too big. Quality control on sizes is off but quality of material and craftsmanship seems good. Wanted to exchange the two items but website won't scroll past first screen for returns. Tried live chat within their cust service window but only got auto chat. No where to call. Waiting on an email for assistance as now it's holiday weekend no live person available until Tuesday.

I purchased a vest for my brother in law because he’s very tall and always has a hard time finding clothes that fit. Honestly I wish I just read some reviews before ordering from this company. What they say about the customer service is correct, it’s horrible. The chat bot they have is infuriating, when you finally get to where they offer to speak to a human they create a ticket and say you’ll get a response in 1-2 business days. I purchase the item with priority shipping which stated 1-2 business days. The express shipping which was more expensive however said 3-8 business days. Obviously I chose priority shipping knowing it would still come after the holidays (not worried about that). It said it would arrive on Tuesday the 26 which would have been a solid 7 regular days (cute makes sense with the long weekend etc) however when they shipped the item out it said it wouldn’t come until the 29th and I’m not mathematician but I do believe that is over 5 business days. So I try contacting customer service and to no success I had to go to Instagram dms to get a hold of a human being. I asked if they could double check they actually sent with priority shipping because that’s what I paid for. They responded pretty quick and said they would look into it and get someone to email me that day, which they did. The person on the email said priority shipping was used and since it’s “3-6 business days it’s within the timeframe.” I have a photo of the priority shipping saying 1-2 business days…mind you I’ve received other packages from the uk and Australia within 4 business days using priority shipping through the same shipping company. I responded saying how I was a bit confused as they is not was was stated when choosing the shipping options because if it was I would have just not paid for shipping (since it was free) which funny enough had a faster shipping estimate then the express shipping. I ended up speaking to UPS after checking the tracking and they informed me that my package was sent with standard shipping and not priority or express, so I’m not too sure what happened there! The entire experience for me personally was a little bit of a bummer especially since I could have read reviews and just avoided all together. Oh well stuff happens but if my brother in law would like to shop with them in the future that’s perfectly fine as it is still very hard to find clothing for tall people, unfortunately this will be my first and last time! Small companies definitely are not perfect but I do believe there are a few kinks that have been stated by a few customers that need to be ironed out!

Their flannel pajamas are horrible!!! I ordered a pair as a gift for my tall slender son and was excited that he would have pajamas that fit. But the fabric is like something one would use to make crafts out of. The interior of the pajama pants aren’t soft and brushed as flannel should be but like a cheep broad cloth. I’ve tried a few times to contact American Tall without any luck.

When I first dealt with American Tall I was very pleased to be able to buy clothing to fit tall and slim and shipping from Canada. Now for some reason promotion sent are for USD even though I reside in Canada and never had this issue before. As for contacting it’s basically useless…..I have unsubscribed from emails a promotions and to date still receive them with USD promotions…..very very disappointing.

Terrible quality of product for the price! It’s been a hassle to get this sorted out with their customer service.

The items are decent enough but the customer service is a waste of time and extremely unhelpful and don't bother exchanging because they will not hold your exchange items even for the shortest amount of time. I would give your business to other companies given how they treat their customers.

I get all the negative reviews for returns, I am going to only make this review on the quality and sizing. For a tall person 6’5” it’s impossible to find shirts that fit. Jeans aren’t so bad but shirts never can you find anything hardly with the right length. American Talk quality is actually very good for the price. Their V necks are premium material, I don’t order clothes from anywhere else and I have never had to return anything so take that with a grain of salt.

I ordered a sport coat from American Tall. When it arrived, it had shiny areas where it looked like it had been ironed/pressed poorly. I tried to return it, and engaged customer service, which ultimately I was able to do, but it cost me $9 for shipping and a $9 return fee. I won't order here again - the quality is low and the customer service is bad.
