Bought some Taylor guitars through AMS. They were very helpful in setting up the financing. Customer service was great. Did it all over the phone! Will order again!

Easy to find the gear I'm looking for, and they provide amazing service. The variety of drums and percussion gear is astonishing. The fact that my last order arrived 2 days before estimated, has me happy and satisfied.

They, like so many other businesses draw people in with false offers or swap out new equipment for used or refurbished at new cost. For instance This site. I was looking for a foot pedal for my amp. There was a coupon code that takes $20 off everything site wide right? I added a line 6 model that was $299, So, I put in a bunch of bogus personal info to get to the part where the coupon code can be entered. Worked fine. Took $20 off. Then I edited the order from the $299 pedal to add a $59 Line 6 pedal. Still fine, Then I removed the $299 pedal. WOULDN'T you know it, I get a huge pop up that says certain vendors do not want to participate in this offer. It listed like 1000 brand names and Line 6 was listed. HMM Shady site, But wait,,,the coupon code was for this site itself not other vendors. wasn't it?

I ordered a guitar online and realized I used the wrong credit card. I called customer service to change the form of payment and they told me it was too late. Absolutely would not assist me. Shady.

Ordered guitar February 2023. Backordered. 6 months later, email with notice of expired CC on file. Need to call to resolve. 5 hours later, called to update my expiration date. Too late. My guitar had been issued to the next person on line. Called to get details, Collin (sales) said my order had to be cancelled and put back in the queue. Then hung up on me. Collin couldn’t take the heat. Went on a search. George’s Music Store had 2 in stock & hooked me up on the spot with free shipping. American Musical Supply should be more like George’s. AMS is a bit of a sh** show. BUY FROM GEORGE’S!!
