Prior to renting the RV, i looked around in person and online. After I looked online, i came across the this website American dream vacation it seem like a good place i could rent an RV. I been looking to buying a new RV and this seem like a good idea to rent and if it was a good idea to buy one for myself. I made an appointment to look at what was offered, it seems these Rv's were owned by other people and they are just renting them out to people like myself wanting the experience. The personal was very kind and knowledgable of units they were renting out. The price seemed high for using the RV for 5 days. Upon returning the RV i was told if nothing was broken i would be receiving my deposit back. After a week of waiting on a refund i called the Company and asked for my refund. The company stated that there was some damages to the unit and the deposit would cover the damages. I thought there was no communication to why i did not receive my deposit. This is why i am giving two stars out five. I don't think I'll ever rent from this place ever again.

WOW!!! I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT YOU GUYS WOULD ASK ME FOR A REVIEW BUT I WOULD BE GLAD TO. ON JUNE 26, 2013 MY FAMILY AND I RENTED AN RV FROM AMERICAN DREAMS VACATION. WHEN WE PICKED UP THE RV AT 2:00 PM THE RV'S AIR CONDITIONERS WASN'T WORKING AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT IT THEY TOLD ME THAT THE GENERATOR HAD OVER HEATED BUT ONCE UNDERWAY IT WILL KICK IN AND BE FINE. MY WIFE WAS 8 MONTHS PREGNANT SO AC WAS IMPORTANT FOR HER. WE MADE IT TO SPRINGFIELD AIRPORT IN MISSOURI AND THE GENERATOR NEVER KICKED IN SO WE HAD NO AC AND WE WERE HEADING TO FLORIDA, A LONG DRIVE FROM MISSOURI, I CALLED AND INFORMED THEM THAT THE AIR SILL WASNT WORKING, NOT THE DASH AIR NOR THE OVERHEAD AC. THEY TOLD ME TO FIND A CAMPSITE AND THEYD SENT SOMEONE TO FIX IT IN THE MORNING BECAUSE THEY WERE ABOUT TO CLOSE FOR THE NIGHT. SO WE CAMPED OUT AT A KOA AND WAITED UNTIL MORNING, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AND AFTER MANY PHONE CALLS THEY FINALLY ANSWERE AT AROUND NOON AND SAID THEY COULD NOT FIND A MACHANIC TO COME OUT AND AT 1:00 PM THEY CLOSED AND ONCE AGAIN LET OUT TO DRY. SO WE FINALLY MADE IT TO FLORIDA AND BOUGHT A BUT LOAD OF GROCERIES, GOT PARKED AND HOOKED UP AND THE FRIDGE AND FREEZER DIDN'T WORK SO WE LOST ALL THE GROCERIES AND HAD TO PAY CAMPSITE STORE PRICES FOR GROCERIES OR 10 DAYS AND WE WERE A PARTY OF 8 PEOPLE, I SPENT ALMOST $6,000 IN JUST FOOD BECAUSE AS WE ALL KNOW THAT CAMPSITE STORES WILL RAPE YOU ON THE PRICES...$7.00 for a pack of hotdogs and $9.00 12 packs of sodas. When we took showers the drains we're clogged and it took all day for the water to drain so we had to use the community showers. When we set down to eat and my daughter put some homemade salsa on the table the table fell off the hinges and all over my grandkids. When we arrived back to drop off the RV they wouldn't let my wife sit inside the office while we unloaded our belongings from the RV. I left my three adult children there to unload and I had to take my pregnant wife and three grandchildren to a restaurant so they could be in some air conditioning as it was an average of 100 degrees from Florida to Missouri, a three day drive with no AC. When I dropped off my wife my daughter called me and said the RV people aren't letting us get our things, we were not late dropping off the RV, I had to call the state police to get my things, this was an issue that the troopers said was a pretty common practice and that they were called out alot for this reason. I filed a lawsuit and had difficulty finding a local lawyer to represent us because they have had many other law suits against them and it could be a conflict of interest to represent us. I did find one and they kept filing B's motions until I could no longer proceed with the case. This so called "VACATION OF A LIFETIME" ended up costing me upwards of $30,000 and my daughter told me that this was the worst vacation of her life. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AMERICAN DREAMS VACATION unless you want the perfect vacation from hell!!!

First time driving an RV. Was given great instructions. Family had a blast! RV was even better than anticipated!

I would give no stars if I could. After paying the extra tire insurance we had a blowout on the rv in the middle of nowhere. We called the helpline which was suppose to come out and fix it but they didn’t service our area. We waited on the side of the road for over 8 hours trying to find someone to come fix it. We paid over 2000 dollars to have it fixed and get new tires put on in the next town because the ones they replaced it with were too small. When we returned from our trip we provided all the receipts and were never reimbursed. I tried for over a year to have someone even explain why we could be reimbursed even with the extra insurance and no one would return my calls. Such a disappointment. Beware

I am so surprised to be contacted as our experience with AmericaBADdreams was less than positive. We actually loved the motorhome we rented which helped us in our purchase a few years later. However we found the walk through and on the road assistance less than satisfactory. My guess is since you rent such a variety of rv models, some privately owned, you cannot be super knowledgeable. But your staff should know the basics. We were definitely oversold on some coverage such as propane. We ended with being charged for some damage we did not do, and thanks to another renter, we fought it and won through the state attorney ‘s office.

We had a great time one of our best family vacations. The company did a great job of preparing us for our adventure. We would definitely use them again.

Run far far away as fast as you can To start I was there for hours because the 5th wheel I had rented wasn't even ready. I had to check the oil in the generator which was low they although did supply me with the oil to keep it topped off. Lug nuts we're also broke off which I found and there was no way for a quick fix so I took it like it was. Get to our camping location Friday and the main slide out wouldn't work. I called and was told they would be out there Sunday to fix it which would be at the end of our camping trip. Luckily I own a 5th wheel and had the knowledge to override the system and get it out. My wife used the restroom in the front of the trailer and the most good awful smell filled the entire camper. I then called again and was told again Sunday they would come look at it because it was dumped and the tanks should be empty. So Saturday I take it to a dump station in the park and nothing comes out so the tank is clogged. They may have thought it was empty but gauge was showing full. So a guy comes over Sunday with a metal rod saying we must have plugged it up because you can't stick to much tissue in the RV toilets. Keep in mind I work out of town all the time we have lived in a 5th wheel for years and have never ever had an issue. So he proceeds to ramrod the rear toilet which something was obstructing it not from us though because it hadn't been used besides to go number 1. He then goes to the front bathroom thinking he's got it figured out. Water is off but from the pressure in the line everytime he tries to flush it fills the toilet more and more. So once the toilet is completely full he tells me man y'all really clogged this tank up which makes me even more mad. Now the toilet is full camper smells like 4 dead bodies have been rotting in there for months and he leaves. Tells me hey when you bring the camper back Monday just hold the flusher open for an extended period of time and it'll go down. Monday comes time to travel toilet is still full and holding the flusher down is doing nothing. So the dish set that I paid for with the rental was used to empty the toilet. So use caution if you rent from them on what dishes you use because yes I brought the cup and bowel I used to empty the toilet back to them so I didn't get charged extra for disposing of their dishes. I told them about it and had left them in the shower but knowing them they kept them and are still supplying those same dishes into the sets. My father had rented a motorhome as well and the generator had went out completely a guy came to look at it Saturday because my father is on oxygen and a CPAP at night. We were told it couldn't be fixed and they couldn't bring another RV out to replace it so they left Saturday instead of Monday. I had to have a friend drive the motorhome back. When we got to their location another renter was raising hell because his tanks we're full as well and he had to empty them. Overall it was a horrible horrible experience next time I'll just use my 5th wheel which I was staying in out of town working I didn't want to make an 18 hour roundtrip with it just for a couple days of camping. Next time I will stay far far away from these folks. After reading Google reviews I should have known better but I went ahead anyway and completely regretted it.
