I am very disappointed with AllTrails pro. Having used the app for several weeks, find it difficult to find my way round. It seems impossible to write /record new routes. Many routes on the app are inaccurate, with e.g. a walk covering many kilometres, with a gain of several hundred metres are described as ‘easy’. Many walking paths end after a few metres! Railway lines, which can be useful guides, are so feint that are nearly illegible. I never found a method of finding a location without first choosing a pre-set walk near the location you are trying to find! What I thought would be a ‘life saver’ walking in Switzerland, was a bit disappointing. Maybe a useful guide would have helped me. Unfortunately, I never found it.

I used this app once a year ago. They have just charged me £29.99 without any notification. I usually keep a good record of subscription dates and when to cancel free offers. There is no option on the app to cancel the subscription (that I can find - if it is there it is WELL hidden) and no obvious way to reach out to Alltrails to notify them to cancel the charge. Not an impressive way to make money! about this nor knowledge on my side that I need to

Not good place to work. Contractors do same work as full time but much less pay and no benefits. Promotions given based on cliques. Lost half of team this year due to lack of opportunity or because they spoke out about something illegal. Brags a lot about being accessible but website not available to people with visual or hearing problems even though that's the law. Team not diverse at all either.

For central Idaho AllTrails is missing many existing, marked USFS trails in its App. There are better online resources for this hiking region.

A terrible service that only appears be getting worse. Filled with bugs the devs don't appear to be fixing and the service is currently down. Clicking on any trail returns a 404 error. Cannot be relied upon.

Made me subscribe to see a map for a walk. Map was rubbish and now they won't stop sending me emails asking me to pay for subscriptions despite trying to unsubscribe multiple times over a number of months.

Hello, The database is terribly wrong. At every single trail I've planed, I faced paths that not existed anymore or were closed because they crossed private properties. It obliged me to sometime almost to double the excpeted time on the way. I felt this quite dangerous, in terms of becoming tired and having a lack of food, water, light, network to inform the family ...

This app may be better than I know, but as with many, there are no instructions. I got it to work for two days but now I tell it to start but it doesn't record walk...probably my fault but not if no help. I suspect this app does more than I can see, but with no guidance it's a piece of junk.
