I had a very challenging experience in getting a prescription for my dog the first time I used Allivet. They did work diligently to make it right. Thank you.

Allivet is good but they use USPS and FEDEX this is the problem. My pets meds were temp controlled and USPS took over a week and the medication was to hot so it is useless 136.00 wasted FED EX delivered to wrong address medication sat in the heat again 136.00 wasted. They did take a long time to process the first RX. Now for the good news if you have a issue just ask to escalate it with a supervisor. They fixed everything and gave me a store credit. Now I send them a hard copy of the RX no loss time to call the veterinarian who usually is busy. Ask them to send meds with signature required this saves lazy fedex drivers or contractors from dump and run at the wrong address. The supervisor always resolves this. I do believe if they used UPS this would fix the delivery issues as far as customer service thats on allivet to police there employees if they have complaints about service reps they should be fired. As a consumer and pet owner it is our responsibility to prepare earlier to make sure our pets meds are ordered in time before they run out. So I give them 2.5 stars

They get faxed through prescriptions with three refills only to get their info muddled. This is the second time I have not received my dog's meds on time as they screwed up. I'm looking for another online med retailer.

My dog has epilepsy, so it's essential that there isn't a disruption in his meds. I tried (SEVERAL TIMES) to use Allivet to create a steady, reliable source for his meds. This last disruption was the kicker.... I ordered his meds well in advance of us running out. I even setup autoship for all 3 prescriptions needed. I checked the site daily for updates as our deadline approached. I had to call multiple times before someone finally gave me the "warehouse delay" excuse. No one called to alert me to this. No emails, no nothing. Just .... if you're not checking up on them everyday, let your pet run out of meds and die.... And to top it off, when I said this won't work and to cancel the autoships, THEY WOULDN'T ISSUE A REDUND! Because the meds were "already in transit". (They finally showed up almost a month late). There's no regard for the customer. No regard for the safety of the patients that rely on these meds to live. No regard for HOW EXPENSIVE some of these meds are. I will NEVER use them again, and have told everyone that will listen (including my vet) about this experience. Warning them that if they truly love their pets, they'll steer clear of this company.

If you want to receive your pet’s medication on time and expect a smooth ordering process without unnecessary delays, do not use Allivet for the sake of your pet. I ordered asthma medication for my cat, and my vet approved the prescription the next day. However, Allivet did not ship the medication until 7 days later. The order status remained "Rx Hold Status", and after multiple emails and chats with customer service, they claimed they needed clarification from the vet. even though the dosage instructions were clearly stated on the prescription! Had I not contacted them, I fear the prescription would have never been shipped. After the delay, customer service assured me they would provide free next-business-day delivery. However, when I checked the tracking number, it showed a 6-day delivery time instead. I won’t receive it until next Tuesday. This is completely unacceptable for a pet’s critical medication. I have canceled all auto-ship orders after reading more horrible reviews about their service. Since I value my cat’s well-being, I will now carefully research all reviews before trusting any online pet pharmacy.

Do not rely on Allivet for essential medications. Allivet did not process my order. The status said "pending fulfillment" for 4 days before I finally canceled and ordered elsewhere. Each person I spoke with gave me a *different* story about the warehouse being closed for upgrades (or in one case, closed for a "one-day holiday on Friday"). Seeing another review on this site shows that the company has had this "warehouse closed for upgrades" issue (line?) for a few weeks. An honest, responsible company would state on the website that they cannot fulfill orders in a timely manner. Instead, Allivet pretends to be operational and is putting pets' lives at risk. The deceptiveness is more upsetting than the delays. I will not do business with Allivet again - they are not trustworthy and clearly not concerned about pet health. To their credit, one person I spoke with offered to reimburse me if I purchased the medication from the vet. But after I submitted the receipt, another rep said she would have to "see if they could do that" and then she tried to lower the amount of reimbursement.

I am no longer using Allivet after years. You were unable to deliver my pet's medicine in time for her to take it due to your warehouse shipping issue. You could not tell me a shipping date even though I ordered it 14 days in advance. When I called into Allivet, your rep informed me of the warehouse issue and could not give me a delivery date only that it would ship overnight. The rep was fine, your computer system was not. Sorry. You lost me as a customer.

I have been with Allivet since the switch from Walmart Pet Rx. My pet's prescriptions have arrived on a timely basis and their customer service has been excellent.
