I was overwhelmed trying to get answers about my PCOS from my in-demand PCP and OBGYN. Finding Allara was a game changer. I feel so heard by my doctor, nutritionist, and concierge team. From helping set up blood work appointments to setting up a meal plan for a work trip, I finally feel like I’m not alone in navigating health stuff!

Allara is the first place where I finally feel heard. After years of struggling with the symptoms of PCOS without proper guidance, I found doctors and dietitians who truly listened to my needs instead of simply prescribing birth control and advising me to eat healthier and lose weight. I'm incredibly grateful for this kind of care, and the fact that it's available via telehealth is a huge plus. I highly recommend Allara to anyone dealing with hormonal issues.

I had a very negative experience with Allara as a whole, but especially the nutritionists were a disappointment. Not only did I feel unheard, my question not answered, but I GAINED weight while working and following all the instructions and tips. But maybe the most disappointing part of working with Allara was the fact that every time I pushed for more support to lose weight (the only goal I had come in for and repeatedly asked for help with) I was told again and again that Allara is "not primarily a weight-loss service" - which is a) exactly how I found them online and what was discussed during their Q&As and b) precisely how Allara advertises on social media. I have the videos and the posts to back it up that Allara indeed does advertise with weight-loss. So either the people working for Allara are unable to deliver what the company promises or we have a case of false advertising. Either way, incredibly disappointing. I am leaving their service after 5 months feeling made a fool of, wasted time, and best of all much, much wasted money. Would strongly recommend to hire more experienced nutritionists and re-think your marketing.

Beginning Stages I am in the beginning stages of Allara. I must admit, very disappointing. First, the site was giving me problems and unable to log in. Five minutes and the doctor hung up. Grateful for the waived charges but the company should have disclosed a grace period. Second, the company did not disclose majority of providers are not approved through BCBS. Therefore there’s nothing available for the remainder of the year. Finally, I’m concerned about their their commitment to clients. Update 5/3/24. Thank you guys for promptly responding I have received notification of a RD.

After 15 years of debilitating chronic pain and zero treatment or pain management guidance from my providers, Dr. Gouri at Allara determined the root cause of my endometriosis and PCOS pain within ONE MONTH. She is helping me get my health in order as well as supporting my fertility timeline. I’ve am so grateful for this help.

I went with symptoms such as fatigue, hair loss, rapid weight gain. I already had a diagnosed thyroid problem. All of my labs were fine and I wasn't heavy enough to receive a GLP-1 medication. I'm glad to see good labs but I was only recommended supplements. I cried during the appointment because once again I'm in the same spot. I was appalled at the end of the appointment when the Dr. asked if I should check in with my doctor about mental health. It felt as if she was implying all of this was in my head.

My experience with Allara has been very positive overall. I feel like my Allara ob-gyn took my symptoms and my experience seriously. Dr. Klein took her time getting to know me and answered all my questions, which I really appreciated and made me feel very supported. I have seen a lot of improvements since working with Allara - not only have my labs improved, but so has my nutrition and my relationship with food, I am more physically active, I feel clearer and have a more positive outlook which has helped my mental and emotional health, and I feel more confident. I feel like I finally have a handle on my PCOS vs. my PCOS taking over my body and affecting all aspects of my life.
