I had a call with one of these doctors after feeling really frustrated about how my pcp was referring me to several specialists and I really wanted to figure out what was causing my symptoms. Before even seeing/ reading my labs she recommended a non FDA approved pig hormone replacement based on me saying I’m always tired. This felt like they have some relationship with the hormone company to be pushing it that hard. The call was 15 min and I had to push to get her to order labs. I didn’t do the labs and cancelled all appointments.

What a horrible experience and a lack of customer service. You have to search to find the customer service number. The messages in the app are not answered right away. It took two weeks for my labs to come back, and my insurance covered a GLP-1, but the provider was not in network, so they pushed me to pay out of pocket. It was a significant waste of my time, and I did a lot of legwork on my own. The only plus was my provider. She was great, and I will miss her.

I want to state that I've been very dissatisfied with my care with Allara so far. My dietician was nice, but gave me very basic information. The MD on the other hand, has made me feel more dismissed than my primary care doctors ever have. Dr. Bremner rushed through both of my appointments, had to ask me for information about myself I've provided multiple times, referenced "your diabetes," which I've never had a diagnosis for, and also thought I was on an insulin pump when I've never had insulin. He also told me today that if I started taking weight loss meds, I'd likely regain the weight back "and then some," and he would not recommend that ... but also recommends that I lose weight to manage my PCOS. I am also very dissatisfied with the "insurance" claims that Allara makes. It was shown that my insurance would cover my appointment, only for me to have a $168 visit charge in my bank account a few days later with no notice or explanation of benefits/cost. I cannot recommend this company or service - save your money and time.

I am having a bad experiece with Allara. I had my appoint it went well order a bunch of labwork with Labcorp. I have insurance and the issue happen with Labcorp now getting billed 800 dlls for labs. When I called Labcorp and my insurance was told to contact the Provider and update the diagnosis. Well I have message Allara multiple times to contact Labcorp and arrange at least the diagnosis codes so Labcop can submit a corrected claim. All responses seem AI generated. No live representatives to help. Now it seems like I am stuck with a bill becuase they don't want to help call Labcorp.

My communication with Allara was incredibly disappointing. When it came to booking me for new services they were highly communicative and pestering, trying to get me to book services with them. When it came down to questions around insurance, cost of services etc. it was crickets. They ignored and did not respond to any questions I had around if they took insurance, how much a normal lab panel cost etc. I am a grad student and price sensitive, so having providers who can clearly and honestly talk about services charges is incredibly important. This level of communication eroded my trust in them as an organization - and it felt like they were just trying to sell me rather than give honest communication on cost. An important part of healthcare is equitable access and Allara not being able to provide any communication on cost of services showed me that they are not an organization who cares as much as their advertising says. I know people have great experiences with them but this was a huge miss for me.

Scheduling and meeting with the provider were hassle free however once I got labs done, no one has reached back out or answer my messages. The provider was sweet and listened, had no issues with her. The app and website are horrific. You never know when you're gonna be able to access your account because there always seems to be "an error has occurred" wether through the app or browser(tried chrome and edge). I'm probably just going to find a local doctor that I can get lab results back quickly with better communication.

The goal of this telehealth makes sense and they were fast at scheduling the app for me. The problem was the physician, very knowledgable but her manners were bad. She did not trust my insights around my health (she did not know but I work in women's health), she did not have any compassion towards me - I am very disappointed and I want to change my provider at allara or just try another healthapp. I was expecting more from this telehealth visit.

Only on my second month and the amount of time I've spent waiting for responses from chat and trying to connect with someone or have them fill out the right prior authorization is horrific. Provider seems great but the admin is just not at all worth it. I'm actually going to pay out of pocket over $1k because I mentally cannot spend another minute trying to get someone competent on chat to respond (there's no phone number).
