The providers I see (endocrinologist & RD) have been empathetic listeners and try to find ways to not only make my symptoms lessen now but manage them in the future. Allara RX will hopefully be easier to work with in the future with fulfilling prescriptions in a timely manner. Also, the concierge team has been helpful, but the timeliness of responses and eventually a resolution needs improvement within the app.

I like working with my nutritionist. I just wish she’d help me create a balanced meal plan. We haven’t done that yet so I’m hoping in future appts she will help me create that. But for now things are good.

I use Allara for medical and their dietitian services. I find that their medical services are helpful and insightful, but it’s hard to get a hold of the doctor in between appointments. If you have questions, you usually get some type of robot first and eventually they forward the question to your medical provider. You’re not able to contact your medical provider directly and get an answer back quickly. But they do help you with your lab work and going over any issues you have. As far as the dietitian goes, I find that you’re able to speak with them weekly or monthly. They have more flexible scheduling. I recommend trying Allara . I definitely feel like I am listened to and can make up my own mind about my health. I’m not forced to do /buy anything. I like that.

What I saw in the adds were what sent me here, but when I spoke with the provider she was nice, but she kept saying we are just a telehealth provider, I was exited for the convenience of not having to drive to appointments all the time. But, I am assuming based on what she said they can’t take on every patient they consult.

I’ve left several reviews before! Allara has changed my health for the better. My prior OBGYN Dr. Tiffany Pham is amazing and she helped me find a birth control that agreed with me and I had almost no side effects with! I’ve lost weight with the help of Allara and they’ve been extremely helpful in helping guide me alongside my treatment. I wish all doctors were this way. That said, the technology used and the system itself leaves a lot to be desired. I constantly have errors, such as the scheduling system showing me the wrong doctor and dietitian, errors in my messages as well as some messages always showing as a new message despite opening them many times, and issues logging in. It is not very user friendly but it’s good enough to use and I’m fairly happy with the customer service but wish the app were better.

Allara is filling a gap in providing education and availability. I've done a lot of research on my own and advocated for tests and labs with my regular OBGYN/RE office. However, it is difficult to get an appointment and I appreciated being able to talk with a qualified provider about my questions. Medicine is so busy that there is limited time to receive education in the traditional model. I think for many women who haven't been able to see a specialist or don't know where to start in doing their own research - Allara is a great starting place for understanding the female body.
