I started with Allara 4 years ago and I have had nothing but a positive experience with them. The concierge have been there to help answer questions, schedule appointments, and get me in touch with my provider. Both the doctor and NP I see have always taken the time to listen to my concerns, discuss treatment options, and worked tirelessly through some insurance issues to help get medication approved. My RD has been great at giving me so many tools to use to help work alongside the treatment plan of my doctors including food and supplements. Allara honestly goes way beyond the take some birth control and some metformin and come see us when you want to get pregnant which is what I have dealt with for most of the past 20 years since my initial diagnosis. I cannot say enough good things about how this company has helped me manage my PCOS.

If you have CareFirst, don’t even bother. They only have one dietician that takes that insurance and they have zero availability. I was told that I could see another dietitian but for the out of pocket rate. The plan was exactly the same as just going to my regular gynecologist because all the gynecologist at Allara did was give me a list of medications to go through and try, I never was even able to get any holistic advice because I couldn’t see the dietitian. Waste of hundreds of dollars and time.

I feel like your advertisement is misleading. You come off as a company that understands conditions such as PCOS, Hashimotos and thyroiditis. You also mention that the dietician and the physician work together. I did not find that experience as well. The only individual that seemed to try the help was the dietician. Nobody seemed to understand hashimotos anymore than the doctors I could see with my insurance so I found it a complete waste of money.

Allara has been incredibly knowledgeable and supportive in managing my PCOS. Allara matched me with an amazing doctor and registered dietitian, both of whom I really like and trust for my care. Their staff worked tirelessly to get a prior authorization approved with my insurance, which made the process so much smoother for me. Their expertise is evident, and I always feel well taken care of. Plus, their availability through the app makes it easy to reach out whenever I need anything, offering quick responses and ongoing support. I couldn't be more grateful for the help they've provided!

I loved the provider I saw…. She was lovely and so informative and helpful. Everything else since then has been pretty awful. For paying a fee for “concierge service” I have gotten far better and more prompt care from my doctors office without having to pay them a fee. I truly fail to see what the fee for the platform is, you’re not provided with anything, actually getting something accomplished is impossible and you just get the run around. I obtained and uploaded my own labs after asking multiple times if they had them and being told yes. Medication that I have taken before needed a prior auth, approved in the past, nothing has changed, yet it was denied now since not all of the correct info was submitted. Beyond frustrating. The only thing keeping me from possibly continuing is the wonderful Dr but I am feeling it’s not worth it overall.

I signed up for 6 months. Took off work for a virtual appt. The link in the text kept taking me to the dashboard of Allara, not the appt. It wasn’t until I opened the link in the email that it actually took me to zoom. It was NINE minutes past my appt time. I am a medical provider and I’ve never heard of any facility giving less than 10 mins grace period minimum. At Kaiser, we see patients who come 4 hours late if necessary. I am being charged $50 no show fee because their link didn’t work. I am reporting this charge as fraudulent to my bank.

Dr. Otuyelu-Garritano is the best doctor I've seen in my life. She's in a class of her own.
