My Family and I thoroughly enjoyed the Peru - Amazonica Reserva and Machu Pichu Tour that we took in August 2021. All the sites, as advertised, were amazing. The three course meals - appetizer, main course, dessert - provided by the tour were great. What impressed me the most were the Alexander and Roberts Representatives. Thank you to all the Alexander and Roberts Representatives who made this trip a once in a lifetime and a memorable one. They were all very friendly, courteous, professional, and attentive to all our needs. They treated us all like Royalty. In particular, I would like to recognize the following folks, in Lima - Arturo (airport transportation & admin), Milagros (tour guide), Inkaterra Amazonica Reserva - Alma (airport transportation & admin), Pedro (excursion guide), Cusco/Ollentaytambo/Cusco/MachuPichu - Juan Carlos (manager), Dimitrio (van driver), Breytzi (tour guide extraordinaire). Breytzi accompanied our group the whole time in these places. Her knowledge and passion, in particular of MachuPichu and Cusco, made us feel safe and made the visits to these places very enjoyable. I can't think of anything that I would change about this Trip. It seemed like the Trip was designed with contingencies, for the enjoyment of the people on the tour. For example, it rained on the first day and first visit to Machu Pichu. Fortunately, the itinerary was setup up for two more visits (with lunch in between) on the second day, when the weather was just beautiful and perfect.

A trip of a lifetime that should be on everyone’s “bucket list”. The A&R team delivered and surpassed all expectations. From pre- trip support in navigating today’s Covid requirements through flight planning, first class lodging, superb food (even in the middle of the Serengeti) and driver-guides with unbelievable knowledge of their area and the animals that inhabit it.

This was my third trip with Alexander and Robert’s. I had gone on safari with my mother two years ago ( on safari Kenya & Tanzania ) and decided to repeat the same trip with my husband since I had enjoyed the experience so immensely. This trip was even better and no two trips in Africa are alike when it comes to viewing all of the beautiful animals and different types of locations . The very educated guides were extremely interesting , friendly and accommodating as were the hotel and Lamala staff wherever we went. I actually cried the day we had to leave . It’s a trip of a lifetime and I’ve been blessed to experience it twice . Thank you ! PS looking forward to our next adventure!!

Our 4-day bespoke tour of Alsace was a perfect trip. Having never been there, we now have a wonderful understanding of the region, the people, the ancient villages, and the wine industry. Our guide made excellent arrangements at top restaurants and also lead us through the Covid challenges.

Everything went according to the plan. Even the smallest issues were resolved quickly and professionally. Job well done and we ended up with unforgettable and wonderful memories.

The accommodations were really bad. The food was mediocre and the bus rides were the worst

A&R helped make our Africa vacation the trip of our lifetime. We could not have managed all the Covid tests, border crossings, and excursions without their competent in-field and at-home personnel. Our safari guides were intelligent, knowledgeable, and personable; truly our family away from home. The accommodations, personnel, and food were all star-5 experiences. We never wanted for anything and were treated as royalty. It's a great experience when you've been away from home for 3 weeks and don't want to come home! We will be using them again!

Just returned from our 3rd A/R trip...this time to Africa (Botswana/Zimbabwe. The trip was originally scheduled for May 2020...and finally...we made the trip August 2021. Chip, of A/R did a lot of hand holding along the way. Once Africa opened, the logistics of getting there became a challenge. All of the problems were handled by Chip. He'd call and let us know the problem...followed immediately by the solution. Wonderful; that's how an agency is supposed to function. Now about the trip itself...fantastic. Our expectations were high and A/R exceeded every one of them...accommodations, tours, food..all excellent. While we were on photo safari and animal sightings were exhilarating, we found the people to be the most interesting, genuinely kind and appreciative.
