I am currently sitting at the gate, once again, waiting for Alaska to make up some ridiculous excuse as to why our flight is being delayed for an indeterminate amount of time. I have flown Alaska 20+ times in the last year, and without fail, there is a 1-3 hour delay. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've heard every excuse in the book - plane hasn't landed, plane needs a gas refill, plane isn't at the gate yet, no knowledge of air control traffic. EVERY TIME, I waste HOURS of my life waiting. There is no transparency at all throughout this entire process. I always have to ask security what's going on. As customers, we are given absolutely no explanation as to what's happening, when the delay will be over. I've missed countless important events in my life due to the ridiculous inefficiency caused by Alaska Airlines. Maybe today's delay is minor, and I wouldn't be complaining unless this was a repeated offense. Check my flight history and see how many delays I've experienced in my time with Alaska. This is appalling, downright disrespectful, and an obscene waste of my time as well as the customers around me. I will not be continuing to fly on such a joke of an airlines and I will be informing all of my friends never to use Alaska Airlines again. This is ridiculous.

In April we had to cancel our May flight because of an urgent surgery. My surgeon wrote a note in my medical record that I couldn’t fly until June. Alaska didn’t care and so charged us $125 penalty fees to cancel. If you die they will give you a full refund so I guess they don’t allow cadavers to fly. Is Southwest the only compassionate airline remaining?

My only complaint is that they seem to run out of food. We were on a 6 hour flight. I was really looking forward to my meal. And there wasn’t enough for me. This happened on our next 2 flights as well!!

Pretty nice, sometimes the planes are a bit run down (particularly between Vancouver and San Francisco) but honest, friendly and reliable service

We were caught in bad weather on a flight from Denver to Vancouver via Seattle which was delayed. The positives are that they booked us on a later flight as the delay meant we missed our transfer. The negatives were 1 bag didn’t make it and the other was misstagged by the agent and sent to Alaska. We arrived in Vancouver with nothing but the clothes on our back and were told - as we were heading for a ski holiday with all of our ski gear missing to call a number before purchasing anything expensive. In whistler, for a ski holiday, everything is expensive. We called the number every day for an update on the bags and to ask if we could buy mid-layers, gloves, etc and waited, left messages, rang different numbers, sent emails, without any response so as far as communication goes it was very poor. On the positive when we got home we submitted all of our receipts and Alaska airlines made the payment to us for our prlurchases very quickly and without any hassle which was very appreciated. So Alaska, if you sort out your communication you would be a 5 star company for us.

I can say Alaska Airlines is my absolute favorite. We flew Phoenix to Portland last Saturday for an annual dinner. Everything and everyone was 5 star but our flight attendants were especially wonderful. 7AM flight. Group of 100 of us. Flight went fast. Able to order breakfast. Great leg room. Great seats. Large bathrooms. New overhead luggage bins hold more bags. Had to fly home on Southwest and there is no comparison. Thank you, Alaska Airlined for showing us what an Airline can do!!!

One of the worst airlines I’ve dealt with. Literally the 3rd time they have cancelled the flight. THE DAY OF. Very unreliable. Most likely will not be flying with them ever again. I get better service at United, which usually never happens.

I love this airlines!
