Something is wrong with Ace Hardware. They are paranoid here in New Mexico. I have spent close to $4,000 locally in the last 9 months. They seemed fine before all the apocalyptic shutdowns. I was chased throughout the store by an employee demanding me to wear a mask early on " The whole world is wearing masks!" Today they tried to shoot me in the head with a temperature gun. Only place in town that does it. I am just sick of being treated like a Chinese slave. Ace is the worst. Now I am doing business elsewhere when possible. Their corporate people must wake up. This is not a communist country and I demand my freedom.

I am handicapped and so I gave my wife (74 yo) a bolt, washer and nut and asked her to have someone help her in getting 4 more identical pieces. She asked the cashier if someone could help her and the cashier (who was very nice) called for someone to meet her in the aisle. No one showed up. She tracked down an employee who would not help her. The cashier told her it was because they were short staffed due to COVID. I have been an ACE REWARDS member since 2004. This has happened several times before in the last 3 years... long before COVID. Customer service at ACE has been horrible for several years. I will stop shopping there.

Denied a return on ship vacuum parts due to COVID. Such crap bc they are plastic. There is a part missing out of the box and they denied the part was missing. DO NOT SHOP AT ACE. 50 dollars for these parts wasted. That’s a lot of money for nothing.

watch out for their ad's. I produced one that said the price was $49.99. One hour later the price was $64.99 and they will not do anything about it. What a joke. Customer service was horrible.

Always have a great experience at my local Ace hardware store up near Pilot Hill. They do a great job and are warm and friendly people ready to help you find what you're looking for or order it for you on the spot. I'd rather shop here than Home Depot or Lowes any day of the week to tell you the truth. You pay a lil more at Ace, true, but you get what you pay for.

Ace Hardware showed pressure tank was available at store to "pick up today"if ordered online. Paid w/credit card online then called to see what time I can pick it up. Was told item isn't carried, it's a special order that needs to come in from the warehouse. Went back online & canceled order. A.H. sent me an email stating the order has been canceled. Five days later I have not received the credit. A.H. customer service has given us many different explanations & our bank tells us they can't do anything other than go through thier fraud department to look into the charge. *A.H. shows items online that are available at locations for "place order and pick-up today" when infact they do not have them. **A.H. holds your money after purchase has been canceled for an indefinite time leaving customer in the dark not knowing when money will be credited back.

My God ..I expended 1 hour trying to make a purchase trough the website ..a completely nightmare .. cart could never be updated ..I couldn't changed the store I had to call customer services ..very nice people but the website is crap I mean a company like this should invest more money on the website ..This is unacceptable, I wont waste my time again here.

I ordered a $16 charcoal grill to be delivered to a local store. Was give an 1 week delivery window. The item was delivered damaged and the store saod they would send it back and that we would be getting a replacement a week later. A week later came amd the store was told that the item was left at the warehouse. I called customer service at thos poimt, explained my concern to several reps and was eventually escalated to a manager named Adrienne. I asked Adrienne if they could just send the item to my house sonce we were so far behind. He said he understood but could not change the shipping time or location at this point. He instead offered me a full refund and said that he would have the store bring it to my house when it does eventually arrive. I accepted and we hung up. Adrienne called me about 20 minutes later and said that he was only able to refund $10 pf th3 netire ammount but wpuld be happy to sign me up for their rewards program. He said that the store would not deliver the item. I now have no idea when I am or if i am gettimg the item and I omly have a partial refund. The title says it all. This company is absolute Trash.
